I think folks forget how talented he was. Everyone just remembered all of his mugshots. It would be hard to be in the shadow of Whitney Houston. Could you imagine? So much tragedy in his life. Bobby kilt that. I just want folks to remember what amazing talent he has. Word up to Bobby!
You should do a reaction to Bobby's hit It's My Prerogative. That's another good one by him.
Please take a listen to Rock Witcha by Bobby Brown I love it!
The whole damn album was 🔥
Charisma to burn.
I agree. I think he was too good for his own good. I was 17 when this dropped. Too much temptation came with his talent.
One video, less than 5 minutes.
So much talent required for fame in those days.
Bobby didn’t just come out of nowhere.
Bobby came from a kids group called New Edition.
New Edition consisted of members
Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell and Ronnie DeVoe.
Aka, Bell Biv DeVoe.
Some may think this is dated, or even cheesy, but you cant deny the full package of talent.
The industry just had much higher expectations back in those days.
They can make anyone a singer with today’s technology. Just need a look and social media followers and you will be a star. Not much talent needed anymore sadly.
Left out LSG aka LeVert, Sweat,Gill. New Edition is unique (although I could be wrong) where all the members were successful on their own
@@jacquelineford9765 They are the greatest Supergroup ever. Not even the Jackson 5 or Temptations had as much success in the different solo endeavors. All of NE are great no matter the combination.
Facts
This song and My Prerogative are my 2 favorite songs by Bobby Brown
Same!
Same
That was the Jam, back in the days
Indeed it was❤ what a time to be alive!❤
Written by Babyface. Classic late 80's R&B right here
The King!! After all that he has been through, for him to still be with us is a blessing. Babyface wrote this jam, just one of many hits for him. And the haircut part is right lol. Love Bobby
This whole album was fire!!! High school years. Yes!!!
My cousin gave me this cassette back in the day. This song will always remain a nostalgia trip to me. Always brings be back to my childhood.
I was in my mid-20's when Bobby went solo and he was on fire. Glad y'all enjoyed it.
Haircut called the Gumby!
The energy that this man put into his songs was something unusual and worthy of admiration, it is impossible to move listening to this song. From Spain we have always loved him very much.
Bobby was that guy back in the day
So overlooked as a vocalist and dancer 🎶🎵
Every time this video came on in those days, I literally thought I was one of the dancers in that video. Sweating and everything 😅
Bobby possessed the coldest swag of ALL the young artists of that time, hands down.
Lol, haven't thought of this song for awhile,,,brings up thoughts of others,,,,rock witcha, roni
Bobby's haircut was called Gumby.
Oh how I loved and crushed on Bobby Brown; same age as him. As LL Cool J said, “With your New Edition Bobby Brown Button On Your Sleeve” ❤. GOT to listen to his “Don’t Be Cruel”, “Can You Stand The Rain” 🔥
Bobby Brown 👑🐐
Bobby and Those 2 background dancers are 🔥🔥
Heart and Soul.
@@rochellelove3785 So that's their names,didn't know this till now.Thanks.
I'm glad you watched the official video because the radio edited out the rap part of the song so the song would be shorter for radio play. For the radio, the shorter the song, the more songs they could play. If you had watched a different video, you wouldn't have seen and heard the rap part.
Shawn, you are right about the haircut. He was having his hair cut RIGHT BEFORE the video shoot and the guy cutting hair got distracted for a second and accidentally shaved half of his hair.
I was following him since New Edition, and when he went solo Bobby was a Mega star. He was huge! Those like me who were in their 20s at the time know Bobby was King. Thank you for reacting to his videos!😍😍😍😍😍😍
Bobby was the "dancer" of the group!!!😊
Fun fact you know Ralph sang the first part of every little step Bobby couldn’t do cause you know why 😭😭😭😭😭
I really didn't appreciate Bobby's artistry until a few years ago when I started digging deeper into both his solo stuff and his work with New Edition. I was a 90s kid so my recollection up to that point was all the controversy. I'm glad I know better now as an adult. He was fantastic in his prime years. Please react to Bobby Brown - "My Prerogative" and "Good Enough."
This tune is still-FIRE !!! I still like the old school dancing too. LOL.
I think his best vocals was on Good Enough.
He was a good dancer. Great song!
There needs to be a “Love” button for this song!
You got to do,his song- rock withca, don’t be cruel, roni…he had some jams
There basically wasn't anything Bobby couldn't do. He's the total package.
I got up and danced
Please react to his song and video 'My Perogative.' It's great 💕
My fav of Bobby Brown’s!
@@pattytyndall1021 Me too 🙂❤️
He could really sing
I wanted to be BB when i was a kid, man. His moves, back then!!
Not long ago it came to light Ralph Tresvant actually helped with the lead vocals. Bobby while talented was still dealing with the demons that got him put out of New Edition. Bobby's ex manager revealed Ralph came to the studio looking for Bobby, but found an upset Babyface who had written and along with LA Reid did the production work. They were about to leave because Bobby made a run for some things and was late. Ralph got them to stay and did some vocal work to cover for Bobby. When Bobby and Ralph were recently asked about it, they laughed about and just said they have each others back.Through ups and downs he was truly his brother's keeper.
Bobby’s Don’t Be Cruel and My Prerogative are 🔥 too.
We were so excited to see the guys break out into their own styles after New Edition.
They were in all of the dance clubs back then.
We loved the new jack swing, BBD and Babyface too.
This and two can play csn play that game are my favourite what this man want through broke my heart ❤️
How do they not know this song? It's around their age and generation. Someone is lying here
Such a fun song. Yes it was huge.
Actually, Bobby's haircut was called the Gumbie. Based on the Gumbie character.
Classic react to Bobby Brown Good Enough
He was on top of the world back then.
Old school jam 🔥💯
I had to do the video!! I've always loved this song!
One of the best videos ever, Bobby can beat box too.
I LOVE this song, but _Don't Be Cruel_ is my favorite of his.
Brillant tune ❤❤❤❤❤
I can't believe ya'll have never heard this before 🙄❤

I love you guys! You two are my favorites always uplifting and possitive! If I'm feeling down I just play your videos and you guys lift my spirits so thank you for that! Rock on!😊
I love love me some Bobby Brown and I think someone in the comments already said that is correct about the haircut, someone messed up his fade and he said you know what I’m going to keep it just like this lol trendsetter because everybody was rocking the Gumby lol
Great Album
I remember an episode of Family Matters, Eddie and Urkel were watching this video.
LOVE Bobby Brown. His songs were so fun to dance to and I always had him on my songs list to work out to! What a great talent! Another favorite of mine is "My Prerogative", and I'd love to see your reaction to it! Thanks for this great trip down memory lane! ✌💙✌
My Prerogative - ruclips.net/video/5cDLZqe735k/видео.html

Fun fact Ralph tresvant is the chorus singer from the same group new Edition
Absolute banger had the dance parties going hard back in the day 🔥
Yall need to react to Bobby Brown's My Prerogative!
Bobby Brown was the King of R&B before Chris Brown, Omarion or anyone else.
The haircut was something that wasnt new. Its called the Gumby. It was first popularized in the 50s.
Never knew I was a Bobby Brown fan until I bought a new volvo in 2006 with song & artist listed on stereo! I loved this dude before I knew who he was & I hated parting with that volvo cuz we old & it was too large to pull behind motorhome 🤣🤣
BOBBY AND NE REPPIN THE 617. THE OP IN ROXBURY MA ALL WAY TO BROCKTON MASS. NELIFER HERE

I thought of 227 while watching this reaction.
🥰🥰
Check out good enough by Bobby Brown you two would love it.
His best vocals to me...and the beautiful black sandy beaches.
Don't Be Cruel is my favorite! ❤️
Please React to "If It Isn't Love" by New Edition.
I use to go @ an exterior pool in a Montreal park during summertime when I was a teenager late 80's and life guards played on cassette in a boombox. He was great but sad how he was bad with Whitney Houston.
Damn shame what he did yo her!
@@carollittle1059 Her brother Gary introduced her to drugs before meeting Bobby. He stopped; she didn't. He is not to blame for her demise.
Bobby Brown Was Definitely The 1980s
This song is good but I like On Our Own better...because Ghostbusters!
Listen to Johnny Gill MY MY MY
React to k-ci and Jojo-all my life
You as should play New Edition .
bobby at his peak. now who was the better dancer Hammer or Booby?
Bobby was talented. His first solo album was hot imo as well. Wasn't on this albums level, but for the time and him going solo, it was good. It had some hidden gems on it. One song in particular, "Girlfriend". I played that cassette every morning on my way summer school. lol
90s
