    This reminded me of the dam that I recently did. I don''t have a go-pro camera so I could not capture the "weed take down." But the 3 dams that I did had not had work done to them in at least 2 years. With that said you can imagine the weeds, trees, vines I had to go through in order to get the job done. My company put in 37 man hours to accomplish this. Nice thing is the home owners association is going to have us back next year to maintain them.

    Just something I used that you might like, get a red can of (chlorinated) brake clean from oreilly’s and spray the wasps. Drops them dead and they can’t stand the smell. So they won’t come back and land. It’s a cheap $3.50 solution that you can use to clean equipment with too.

    Brad, just a suggestion. If you mix any brand of lemon flavored dish soap and water in a sprayer, spray directly on wasps and nest, it kills them immediately!! I did this when I came across nests while trimming my palm trees. It works! And one thing about dish soap, it doesn't hurt you or the environment at all. Better than chemicals. And great job you did there! 👍🏻

    Love your videos Brad. Just a thought. Not only should you have brought your brush blade, you should have taken along a chainsaw as well to cut up some of those big tree branches on the ground and clean up all of that dead wood, and then neatly place the cut wood next to the fire pit after you clean that up as well. The yard would really look nice once that’s all done.

I tend to be careful around buildings like that because here in Australia if they are old they are often made of asbestos which you definitely don't want to be hitting, so we either spray along them or trim with a big metal sheet up to stop us hitting the actual wall itself

    Two things:
    1. This is a very satisfying video to watch!
    2. I noticed you were using a larger two handed brush cutter(if I'm correct?) -- or did you just put a different handle bar on there?
    What is the advantage of having a two handed brush cutter as such, over a weed whacker? Is there a power difference, stability, etc...?
    Thanks! 🤠

    Do you have a recommendation for when it’s safe to use a saw blade on a brush cutter - meaning how high off the ground is it generally safe? Also, did you do that entire job with one roll of string? When I do tough stalks, the string snaps or needs to be re-spooled. Maybe because I’m using an inexpensive string trimmer?

    Can we just have a moment to realize that as SOON as that thing touched the nest, the nest was GONE. Disintegrated to dust.

    What respirator are you using and does it breath well?

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  4 года назад

      Eclipse half mask, www.amazon.com/shop/coppercreekcutslawncare I love it, breathes great because the rubber keeps shape on your face. All the cloth ones made me feel suffocated because it sucked in on me.

    Can you give me some recommendations on some equipment I should get? I've been looking a Echo 21.2 cc Gas 2-Stroke Cycle PAS Straight Shaft Trimmer and Edger Kit.

      Can't go wrong with that choice as long as you have good dealer support locally. Otherwise get whatever brand will give you the best support.

    Saw blades suck compared to a windser blade windser blade would make short work of that if you don’t know what a windser blade is it cuts and mulch’s at the same time
