- I was driving around to see if anyone was in need of a free lawn makeover and noticed this neglected yard. I knocked on the homeowners door and told her I'd mow her tall grass for free. She was truly blessed to hear that. She has been struggling with getting her own lawn mower running and has to use a weedwhacker, that barely works, to cut the whole property. The property hasn't been cut since last year. She told me that I was an answer to her prayers. If you are wondering why I didn't edge the property with a bladed edger, I ran out of memory on my phone. I will be back in a few weeks in order to finish the job. Hope you enjoy :)

I have watched various lawn makeovers from people all over the world, but this guy is by far the best! He cleans up as he goes along and his expert detailed edging outdoes the others by far. I tried hiring companies the last 3-4 yrs. Twice the companies stopped showing up. The most reliable person has been my neighbor. I hired last year after my lawn went 5 weeks without being mowed.

My feelings exactly....all these lawn makeover videos sometimes have an able bodied person around with indifferent neighbors never offering assistance..... give me a fish.... or teach me how to fish....?? That can takes days, if the mower needs a complete overhaul or it is missing parts that need to be ordered.
I doubt that mower has ever had an annual tune-up.
My son does this type of work for a living; his own business.
The fact you’re doing this without all the big machinery is truly impressive. Well done you.
He has the big equipment but anything bigger would be too big for that yard. It's small enough anything bigger is a pain to use. Plus his push mower is pretty big at 30 inch compared to most residential mowers at 21 inches. Basically use what you need for the yard your doing.

Are you ok your forehead
TELL ME IF you know this trick. If your lawn mower housing is getting clogged up from wet grass then take off the bag or turn off the bag collection lever and run over some very small sticks in a dry area of the lawn. The action of the small sticks being chopped up removes all the grass from the housing. 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🤦 You'll be amazed how clean the housing is!

Already subscribed, I couldn't help it, I chuckled on the second time you hit your head, I lost track of how many times I did that at a place I used to work at, always the same product ( heavy castings, after washing before dry off oven, to be powder coated ) I feel for you though.

I really like the fact you pick up the grass clippings and debris! Not all of the lawn mowing folks I’ve watched do that and it makes for such a much more professional finish😅 I know it’s hard but you seem to care enough to do it

The sound of the mower and weed rater is so calming to me that I sometimes fall asleep listening to the sounds. I'm 73. In my 40s I had a little craftsman riding mower and I kept my neighbors yard mowed and the ditched in front of our houses. It was so satisfying.

Pulling a fence is tough work, especially if they used concrete for the poles.
Yeah she could sell it and make a pretty good amount. Those things aren’t cheap where I’m from. It appears to be in good shape.

I would guess, from the extent of the dog fencing, that perhaps the people were dog breeders at one time. Thank you for the rescue from overwhelm. (Among your expertise, can you resurrect her lawnmower, so she can carry on? Chickanic said a mower not starting was often a simple carburetor fix...) Glad to hear the owner tried to battle it down several times with a trimmer, has pluck. Wet and thick, that made for tougher mowing. Noted it when you had to clear wet material from the mower. Nice extras...clearing leaves off the dog kennel, pulling leaf accumulation out of a corner. You've done all that hard work and still made time to edge. Great work and kindness. Enjoyed the before and after photos.

When you cracked your skull on that bar it brought back memories. I'm retired now but I used to work for a lawn spray company, I would be into the spraying and forget about tree branches or clothes line poles. Ouch!!! I don't miss that. What you do is appreciated.

i have the same problem gettin my mower started..im almost 70 and i just am not strong anymore...lucky for me that my donkey takes care of the lawn problem...i love your channel, May The Lord Keep Blessing You..
