Incredible. Thank you for your work. It is truly sad that this young teen is in this situation. I pray they get all the support and resources needed.
Gee, mental problems?

Bullshit response to a legitimate question.
I like to know what's happening on the subject of safety. But this poorly orchestrated announcement convinces me that the people in charge of our safety need much better speakers (and readers). The first eight an a half minutes is an example of one who is not used to speaking-or reading in public. Doesn't the Montgomery County Department of Police have a better speaker than Chief Marcus Jones? He fumbles with the English language; why?
Bravo now this is a sad situation for this kid but no doubt that everybody involved with this case likely saved someone's life even if it was that that kid.
I hope this kid gets the help that he needs. I hope the family gets the help that they need.
I understand they want to say that the schools are safe as not to scare the public. Truthfully until they rebuild and or retrofit schools with school shooter protections. Examples: Bullet proof walls, doors and windows. Emergency notification communications/ panic buttons. Sliding partition shields; etc.
