In Irish mythology we have a sea god called Manannán mac Lir, (Celtic: “Manannán, Son of the Sea”).
After watching your lives on Tiktok here on the North Coast of Ireland it also reminded me of when Manannán takes the sand from the Whiterocks Beach out to sea during the winter, washes it and returns it in the spring. This morning at sunrise there was about 50 surfers out at the Whiterocks in their winter wetsuits.
