I really like the extras too but rainbow high is definitely more bang for your buck... especially since I haven't kept the ones I got in their original clothes jrjekkfktke I've seen the wave 1 extra dolls on sale for about 17-19 bucks lately which is a bit more reasonable though so I might pick up the pastel girl and the millie soon
This was my first Barbie Extra and I really love her for her hair being two colors, and her beanie. Some of her pieces do stand out like the white plastic jewelry but she definitely is still one of my fave more recent barbies up to date. I hope that Mattel will focus more on designs since it does feel like they focus more on cost efficiencies as a business
I got a few of them and am planning on getting some more as soon as the others go on sale🙌 I really like them, however I'm restyling and customizing all of mine since questionable choices were made🤧 Congrats on getting her!
I assume that they’re higher up because they’re older, and they’re targeted at an older age group than barbie’s other offerings. When they first launched they had end caps and store displays (at least, in Australia they did). This one was my favourite, because my hair is currently split dyed the same way!

Off topic of the video.. but how do you fix curly doll hair bangs? I’m trying to fix my ghouls rule Dracularas bangs and I cannot find ANY videos on how to fix them
It's truly in God's hands. The way they do it in the factory is that they have a hot metal tool that they hold the hair onto or something... I would do a curler (you can do a pencil or anything else as long as it stays in place), boil the hair after the bangs are set and leave for around 72 hours. I'll try and do a video because I need to figure this out too for my poor Monster High dolls ahaa
I used to have the Barbie extra with the pink and blonde crimped hair and the big neon pink fur coat. Her hair was absolute trash. They fried the crap out of it. Even after washing it it couldn’t fix it. I cut it to about shoulder length because they part of her hair that was tied up wasn’t fried and was supper soft. Also I really didn’t like her top or pants eventually I ended up destroying her trying to customize her. I feel bad but she came with bad hair. And ugly pants
