Great video, a few nice rare birds in there, Craftsman vanadium, and Craftsman underline, especially like the 8 point sockets, they always seem a little hard to find. The hat and t-shirts are very cool

Get a nice vintange Craftsman Cabinet and build a set of tools based on one series of Craftsman tools. In time you will have every series made by Craftsman . Tools are addictive lol

Great haul Kurt. I do hate those owners marks, says the guy whose tools are engraved and marked with paint.

Tbh… I’m 17 and can’t afford a good set of tools. Even harbor freight icon and current craftsman are out of my budget at this point minus a few things. I tried going to an auction when I had free time with my dad, but all the tools were getting taken by older men who were just there to collect… I want them to use. It’s frustrating seeing people post on yt on the huge hauls they take from these things when I struggle to find an auction or yard sale to go to near me, let alone get some of the tools. All I ended up with was a 1/4” socket set and a 3/8 ratchet all made in Malaysia. About to give up on auctions, as they don’t always have good stuff and yard sales don’t happen often in the smallish town I live in…

There will always be someone with more but a victim mentality will take you nowhere ! There are plenty of tools to be bought and if old men ARE COLLECTING THEM they're not what you can afford anyways. Old men collect top tier stand out tools that are rare and thus expensive. You acting like old men or dudes like this are somehow responsible for you being disappointed is bullshit off the highest order. You're young so it's understandable to a point but I can assure you that men that use tools for a living prefer to do so not beside someone acting like a jilted jealous ex girlfriend. If you can't afford Pittsburgh at Harbor Freight you sure can't afford classic Craftsman. But keep going and you will be able to one day just like these guys.

There are plenty of deals out there. You are best off buying a cheap full inclusive set than trying auctions. Chances of finding a full set at auction are rare. I posted a video on a Husky Socket and Wrench set that is only $100 at home depot. A great buy for a starter, it comes with 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2” drive sockets and ratchets and wrenches.
