    Tiff Needell's autobiography 'Tiff gear' is very well written and is well worth reading. Perhaps the book could be more aptly titled 'Tiff what if' or 'Tiff Needyll', as the book has a constant 'what if/if only' theme to it, with many just missed big opportunities as well as having to go around in need of a drive, begging to team owners and sponsors. Tiff is a great guy and a great writer and he always remains cheerful, unlike some people.

    • @biggerissues6085

      What could the winner of 103 F1 races (1 in 3 win rate), a GP2 championship, a F3 championship, a Formula Renault championship, and 6 national and international karting titles, possibly learn from Tiff?
      I met Needell when he was a speaker at an HSBC conference, and he was a thoroughly nice bloke, without question.
      But Hamilton isn't here to please us. He's here to prove himself, which he has done time and time again.
      I'd rather have a pint with Tiff, in a heartbeat, but as a driver he wasn't even in the same talent stratosphere as Hamilton.

    • @airplane1831
      @airplane1831 Год назад +3

      @@biggerissues6085 Lewis Hamilton could learn humility and maturity from Tiff Needell. He could also learn from someone how not to bring up political issues in a sporting arena. People watch sport to get away from politics and other social issues. They should remain separate from sport.

    • @biggerissues6085
      @biggerissues6085 Год назад +1

      @Airplane1 Yet, you and I are still watching F1.
      Also, when did we hear him say anything political? Sure, we saw him take the knee but I didn't really care, even though I thought it was pointless.
      However, he didn't ever really say anything on camera. I'm never really sure why we're so uptight about people having opinions, just because they're in sports.
      He turns up and keeps driving. Not sure what else we need from the best F1 driver in history.

    'Top Gear' became so popular, despite the BBC, because of Jeremy Clarkson's untypical, rather 'different' attitude to cars which raised the programme's and co-presenters' profiles.

    Selling his deal yesterday, Sunak even boasted that Northern Ireland enjoyed a “very special position” in the EU single market, and that this privilege made it a magnet for investment. By celebrating the residual benefit of membership for one nation of the United Kingdom, he concedes the cost incurred by exclusion of the other three.
