You shouldn't really lose any fat after more than 6 weeks but there is a period where the fat cells are trying to establish themselves but then they usually will expand as they heal and return to their normal shape.
There is always a difference in fat survival from one side to the other creating minor, normal asymmetry but I have never seen a situation where one side all dies and one side all survives.

Personally I do not combine those two operations together. I do a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift), and a BA (Breast Augmentation) at the same time but I don't combine a BBL with other procedures because I don't want my patients to sleep on their chest after a breast reduction or breast lift because I worry about the blood supply to their nipples and areola.
I had to wait 4 days after my BBL to receive 2 blood transfusions as they couldn’t source my common blood type due to the recent earthquake. Could this of affected my results??
I can't advise you specifically in your case, but I can say that in my patients it is not uncommon for some patients to still be experiencing pain in their buttock intermittently for the first 12 months. Most patients have no pain but there are certainly a group of patients who tell me this. The good news is the pain usually completely resolves.

That’s a great question. Fat is great at softening tissue but it can also be hard to inject into a scar because of the hardest of the scar tissue. I would see a plastic surgeon and get his opinion.

Not exactly but I do think that having a higher hemoglobin is beneficial to fat survival so in that regard the cell saver could be considered to help with fat survival--but indirectly.
Question: I have a very fast metabolism so it’s hard for me to gain weight. If I were to get a bbl and use the stubborn fat, would my fast metabolism born those fat cells?
Of course. That's just liposuction. When fat is placed back into the gluteal area that is a BBL. But you can just have liposuction without placing the fat in the buttocks.
That's good. That means you are considering surgery seriously. It is a safe operation with great results and patients are happy, but it is surgery and needs to be carefully considered before just jumping in.

No not exactly. What I am talking about in this video is fat that has been newly grafted that is trying to establish a blood supply and the pressure of sitting can inhibit the establishment of blood supply. Without a blood supply the fat cells dies and release their oil. As well, the direct pressure of sitting on the fat can also physically squeeze and kill the fat cells. But just putting pressure on you abdomen will not kill fat cells and is the reason for your emojis. However, there is a situation, in patients who are paralyzed and stay in one position and are insensate, in other words they don't feel the pain from sitting in one position for a long time, can do what you are saying and kill the fat. In fact, they can kill the skin, fat and end up with what we call a pressure sore.
You have to be. It is not safe for you to be waking up from anesthesia and be face down on the stretcher before you are awake enough to ensure your airway is good and you are breathing well. Airway is the most important issue for anesthesia.
Is there a way to condense the fat before injecting it into the butt so that more cells can be injected in the same amount of space possibly increasing the amount that survive?
I just had my bbl because I wanted hips. The second day of surgery I noticed my hips looked uneven. On the left side I can see a little bit of my hip dip . Is it possible for the fat to die that fast ? Or did my dr didn’t do a good job ? Now it’s been two weeks and I can see a bigger dent. 😭

It depends. I think there really is a fluff ferry and that eating unsaturated fats like plant-based oils and fish rather than meat and processed foods that contain saturated fats is much better.
On the 23 of this month I’ll be two months post op and my butt was a size 1X pants first beginning of my surgery I’m now back to a size large sweat pants my butt went back to normal size😢why did this happen and will it get bigger or none of my fat cells survived
Fat does not regenerate. The only thing in the human body capable of regeneration is the liver. That's why a parent can remove half of their liver to donate to their child and their liver will grow back to near normal size. Fat cells can get larger and smaller but never regenerate.

You have to sit on your butt immediately after surgery to make sure you are breathing on your own, you are alert enough to protect your own airway, and your airway is open and all is safe. After that has been met then it is safe to roll on your tummy.

Unfortunately I have. Not very often but every year I think I have one patient who loses all of their fat. It is very discouraging.

You can't. Your blood supply is already good. It is the fat cells that need to establish their own blood supply and connect to your blood supply.

200 cc is a small amount for a transfer in general but of course everyone is different.

Yes. Informed your doctor to get a lot of fat put into the designated area that you would like to transfer.

Many people say that the compression of the faja will do that. Is that true?
Too much compression is a bad thing for fat survival. That's why the Ogee Faja does not have a lot of compression in the areas I place fat.

I am almost 3 weeks post op and my butt has become smaller than the first couple of days post op but I am so scared of it getting smaller.
Most of the decrease in size happens in the first few weeks and then it stops.
