    Love how honest you are with the risks. Can’t stand a practice that says they have no infections or complications. I feel they are lying. Surgery always comes with risk.

      You are right about exercising but even with exercise and good eating habits there’s certain things a good eating habit/working out can’t fix so I understand why some people would lean towards surgery. A lot of things are genetics too like size of our breast. Eating healthy/working out isn’t going to make your breast size grow or give you thick thighs if you have skinny legs. I think trying to workout and eat healthy should be the 1st resort to working on our psychical appearance and then surgery as a last resort if we’ve tried everything else. Even with surgery you still have to maintain your new body. It isn’t an end all be all solution. Overall I agree with what you said were not all meant to look the same.

    • @DrWilliamMiami
      @DrWilliamMiami  Год назад +11

      I would not suggest having a massage therapist drain your seromas. You should only have a physician drain those. It is against the law for a massage therapist to drain a seroma, or open an incision. If the incisions are already open right after surgery then it is fine for the therapist to move the fluid out of those openings--that's what we want! But they should not be using needles to drain seromas or opening up a closed incision.

      Yes 🙌🏾 that’s why I came here I’ve been calling his office trying to see if he did seems crazy to me that most of the “popular” plastic surgeons don’t… Seems like all they do nowadays is Bbls which is cool I get it. But what about the other patients that’s depending on good plastic surgeons for other conditions.

      🗣🗣🗣🗣I called his office and it is very hard to get a “real nurse” or knowledgeable staff member over the phone all they do is text your phone about BBL‘s and tummy tucks and liposuction offering discounts and pressuring you to get these things. It’s sad that that’s what this world has become. I remember reading or hearing about Dr. William story and why he even became a plastic surgeon. So that’s why I thought he could help🤷🏾‍♀️ Plastic surgery it’s not just about making someone’s Ass and Breast bigger! There are people suffering with other things that need reconstruction surgery such as Hidradenitis and other medical needs. Now it’s all about the quick money and I guess asses is selling so who cares about the other people who really needs a good doctor 🤷🏾‍♀️ All they care about us money I guess fast money easy money 🤔very sad What happened to the doctors that cared.

    Are there ways to lower the risks of these things? Is necrosis less likely in people that exercise a bit more, so there’s better circulation? Would adding iodine topically after surgery decrease skin infections?

    • @DrWilliamMiami
      @DrWilliamMiami  11 месяцев назад

      The lower your BMI the lower the risk in general so losing weight and getting rid of the internal fat before surgery is wonderful. Exercise is fantastic and the better conditioned someone is prior to their surgery the better their recovery. Topical iodine is not effective however.

    Fat exists in a dynamic not static state in the human body. It constantly changes and is impacted by nutrition and activity, as well as aging and endocrine fluctuations. So wouldn’t it be necessary, for symmetric maintenance, for bbl patients/clients to have regular “repairs” made? (I have a naturally prominent behind and am always dieting and exercising to reduce it). But like breast implants, I don’t imagine this surgical procedure to be “permanent” as a good rhinoplasty might be.
