The intro was hilarious and on point 🤣🤣🤣 I agree with Marijus below, as a fellow Lithuanian having lived and travelled in other countries, coming back here and getting the stare is a bit of a shock at first 🤭 Yesterday I was in Lidl, choosing something off a shelf, when a worker approached me with a big broom, trying to sweep around. It took me a while to realise she was waiting for me to move, because instead of saying something, she just stood and stared with the same face you were making at the beginning 🤣 overall we are not overly polite or open, BUT we are real, direct, and great friends to have :)
Thanks for a great video, keep it up!

Hahahhaha, I really had to be real and point out that impression. I had to digest it all and adjust my mind. I didn't take any offence, I just know each country have their own cultural personality. WHAT A JOURNEY hahahaha. I am glad you enjoyed my video 😁

Well this was a fun review of Užupis! One of the curious places to visit in this neighbourhood is the antique Bernardine cemetery, a peaceful inclusion within all the city noise and hustle. Enjoyed the impressions!

Strange that traditional restaurant is out of Paupio turgus, the used to be the longest lines there (at the far corner where you could walk inside). Yet You could try Georgian food there, pretty unique compared to western countries

@@stafaislive across the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) we call it the Baltic stare. People are shy and introverted but once they open up and get to know you more, you can make lifelong friends or as Vin Diesel would say "Family". It's just that the winters are so cold, the blood and the heart becomes a solid, icy rock. So when the summer arrives, it takes time to worm those organs up.
Great video though. Keep up the good work!

@Marijus Dovydaitis wow seriously I never knew this. No one gave me this answer! One of the reasons I travel to different countries is to understand different cultures and get to know their people more. Thanks for your comment and for watching the video! Are you Lithuanian?

@@stafaislive Indeed, I am. In fact, I've had the opportunity to travel extensively, much like yourself. I've had the privilege of living in two other countries besides my home country. One of them was England, where I spent six years, and Germany. I happen to live between Germany and Lithuania atm due to work. Interestingly, when I came back to Lithuania, after those years, it was a culture shock for me. London, in particular, stands out for its culture of openness when it comes to making new acquaintances. While there's quite the opposite trend in other countries such as Finland, the Baltics, Germany, Poland, and so on.
You have a really good energy about yourself and I mean it from the bottom of my heart even though I don't know you personally. Hopefully you are going to enjoy your time here and hopefully (fingers crossed) your experience is going to be great. The fact that you are so genuine and positive, I can clearly see you shooting for the stars and making a living out of it, if that is something you want to acquire in the future. Good luck! 🙏

Thank you so much for your kind words and the insight you shared about your experiences living in different countries. It's fascinating to hear about the cultural differences you observed, particularly in terms of openness. It's true that each country has its unique social dynamics and ways of interacting with others.
I appreciate your positive vibes and encouragement. It means a lot to me, even though we haven't met personally. I'm glad that my energy comes across as genuine and positive to you. I'll certainly strive to maintain that outlook and pursue my goals with determination.
Thank you again and I hope that your own experiences continue to be enriching and fulfilling. I just posted new video about Lithuania's Hill of Crosses, hope you enjoy it too!
