@@stafaisliveNext time you travel purchase the Lonely Planet Guide To Jamaica. It is the Bible of travel guides and tells you all you need to know about that country including approximate prices etc. It is well worth the money and will prevent you from making costly mistakes. The book is revised every 2 - 3 years so get the most recent.

@@stafaisliveYes I use them all the time every country I visit that does these guidebooks and they are invaluable. I highly recommend them. You just study all the information and use your common sense that’s what I do. They are around £13:00 which you might think it’s a lot but if the information can save you making costly mistakes it is worth it. Good luck on your travels.

Why was the experience bad?

Yeah when they wait for you to open your mouth thats when they shoot out a high price.

I got 3 taxi from town to town and cost me that price.

They were told numerous times to stop recording. As u can see the ppl on the island are inviting and not intimidating I guess they took that like they were weak or clowns. I just recently visited the island and walked threw I didn’t have any issues I followed the rules tho

I mean, it was good enough for a few days while on holidays, probably you are right... not the best for the long term, but it was good to see there were some vegan places!

When you live there long term you just end up making your own food- or knowing what to look for. They have tons of 'Depost' (vegan) food, you just gotta know where to go and that's a little unfortunate but i think they're still not as bad as theyre made out to be
