Thank you for this! I have been looking into extensions and didn’t know where to start. I have super thin/fine hair so regular extensions would be pretty obvious. I am going to try these! ❤
You are so awesome, it looks like you can conquer pretty much everything you set your mind to. I've tried doing these myself and I just don't seem to have the patience, it looks easy but putting that second piece tape extension is so much harder than it looks. In any case, it's a long weekend so I am going to attempt to do this again this evening. Thanks for the inspiration.
@@TashVitorsky Maybe you should do a video on how to do the mirror set up, I'm not sure I know how and I been searching to see if anyone has done this, so far no one has.
I saw a video review on a Vacuum you did 2 years back. Wanted to thank you here for the review here so you’d maybe see my comment. You highlighted how the Dyson definitely has more suction than the ORFELD. This told me most of those other internet reviews were probably bought & paid for by ORFELD- some of them admitted outright they were getting a commission. Anyway, thanks for honest review. You should do more cheap vs expensive home appliance reviews. Nobody fully trusts the Amazon reviews anyway, and you have a “everyday person” kind of vibe so I think a lot folks would listen. Best of luck with your channel!
I actually prefer doing my tape-ins myself. I find that I am never fully happy when they are done professionally--they are either too tight or oddly placed or both.
I did my own tape-ins and loved them but removing them was the worst! And then my hair was/is so thin afterwards. Ugh! I love the look of having extensions but I don’t know if it’s worth the after effects.
Yeah. I hear you. I had a rly bad removal process once where the tapes didn’t want to come out and poor quality hair. I don’t think take ins are the best hair extension method for thin fine hair but I like that I can do them myself and I try to be very careful. I do think have really good quality extensions matters also.
Tash... What type of extensions other than tape ins... Do you recommend for super fine thin hair? I can't afford to lose any more hair... :( When I pull my hair into a pony tail... My daughter calls it a paint brush... That's how tiny and thin it is. Whaaaaaa
I would have loved to see more of the back to see the blend. As well as a pony tail. I’m always worried about the underneath short hair in pony tails. Thanks!
Yeah I hear you. Sorry. This was more of a vlog so didn’t think to focus on that. I should have a video or two under my “HAIR” playlist applying tape ins and showing the back. I don’t think I did a ponytail tho. ruclips.net/video/-In7ME8AQps/видео.html
Can you recommend your favorite replacement tape for the hair extensions because I find that some tab doesn’t stick well and I get slippage in the shower.
Tbh, I’ve never purchased the actual tape since most tape ins come with an extra set of tapes. And I also rarely reuse the Amazon tape ins. After about 6 weeks they become too dry to reuse, even with care. The best tape ins I’ve used so far that I was able to reuse were from Lilyhair.com But I can’t Rmbr if those came with extra tape.
My hairs already to my butt but it is so so fried and there’s breakage that snaps off from brushing. I know I need to just chop it off but I’m so attached to it so until I grow some balls and get it cut, I really want to do tape ins to add thickness back.
The only ones I’ve used that I was able to reuse were from LilyHair.com and thehairshop.com I personally had good experience with both. I’ve worked with LilyHair in the past and ended up buying some myself & I rly liked the quality (not sure about now). Unfortunately I haven’t tried anything outside of those + Amazon ones so can’t rly add any input outside of that :/ Most extensions can be reused for a year or so. And then need to be replaced, even the pricier ones.
Tash do you know any good strong lash cluster adhesive that comes with a brush at the end instead of a thin spoolie? It seems all of now are spoolies now and I actually prefer the brush on the end so I can swipe the spines easily when I overlap. Much appreciated!!
If you place them properly and have enough hair covering the tape ins. But I feel like you’ll still see the tapes a bit as this method isn’t the most seamless/invisible. I usually leave them down or a low ponytail.
I would say LilyHair www.lilyhair.com I’ve used them a few times in the past and they are very good quality from my experience. They use virgin hair I believe, not remy. It’s expensive but holds up for a longer period of time.
They shouldn't. There is a special remover sold on amazon that helps the tapes lose their stickiness, therefore allowing the tapes to slip right out. A few things to keep in mind if you have fine, thin hair is to just be careful as these do add weight to the hair. And also if brushing, be very gentle and don't tug and pull. But otherwise they should not rip your hair out when installed and removed properly.
Yeah, they have the possibility if tugging on your hair too much or if your hair is too fragile for them. I haven’t experienced any hair loss. But not having them in is def better for my hair type.
They’re so pretty! They look 💯 natural

They blend really nicely and the packaging is so pretty. Looks great😊
Thanks! ❤️
So pretty and the color is spot on!! You should be a model!!! ❤

The back side of the “sandwich” can be a bit tricky. It def helps to have a double mirror situation so you can see what you’re doing.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate that ❤️

I know exactly what you mean.
I have been thinking about getting tape in but my hair thin and short just like her's. I didn't believe I could get them but they look good on her.
I'm so amazed at how thorough you are, I know you need to be with diy but it's definitely difficult!!!
Awe thank you. So glad to hear. 🤗

Girl 😍
You make it look so easy 😅❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
it does take longer than these short how-to clips haha
but it’s not so bad, especially the more you do them ❤️

how many locks did you end up needing?
Did you end up using 1 pack or more?
Looks Awesome Your So Talented "
Do you have any recommendations on extensions that would be able to be re used for years? I've been debating on getting either Glam seamles or Bellami
The only ones I’ve used that I was able to reuse were from LilyHair.com and thehairshop.com

Okay thank you! I'll have to try them. Online extension shopping is difficult lol.. thanx
Do not do glam seamless!!!!!!

I actually prefer the brush myself now. Lash linx has a clear adhesive that I really like with a brush.
The mint green is beautiful on you.
Awe thank you ☺️
Love them! So pretty.
Thanks!
Can you put your hair up in a high ponytail with these?
If you place them properly and have enough hair covering the tape ins. But I feel like you’ll still see the tapes a bit as this method isn’t the most seamless/invisible.
I usually leave them down or a low ponytail.
Hello, I think you meant to say 1 or 2 mm (millimeters) away from scalp.. a few centimeters is like an inch.. just fyi.. :) great tutorial btw
Looks amazing
Since you've done your extensions several times, which tape-ins are the ones you would recommend the most?
I would say LilyHair
www.lilyhair.com
I’ve used them a few times in the past and they are very good quality from my experience. They use virgin hair I believe, not remy. It’s expensive but holds up for a longer period of time.
I’m not sure if the code I had with them in the past is still valid - TASH25
Please link the remover :)
Sorry, forgot about the remover
It’s this one here: amzn.to/3IdQP9V
What kind of camera do you use for recording your videos?
I use either the Sony ZV-1 or canon g7x mark iii
They look great 👍
Thanks 😊
I didn’t see an update with how long they lasted?
I wrote an update in the description box 💕
I wouldn’t say these are for more than one time use.
Do they rip out your own hair ?
They shouldn't. There is a special remover sold on amazon that helps the tapes lose their stickiness, therefore allowing the tapes to slip right out. @@TashVitorsky thank you !
Why didn’t you show how to separate them out of the package
I think you mean millimeters... not centimeters.
Can’t Rmbr what this was in reference to but you’re prbly right!
I’m assuming how far they have to be from the root? Lol
Girl be careful ❗️ with this tapes they gonna reap your hair off
Yeah, they have the possibility if tugging on your hair too much or if your hair is too fragile for them. I haven’t experienced any hair loss. But not having them in is def better for my hair type.
