I have short thin fine hair and wear extensions however instead of sandwiching 2 wefts, my stylist uses 1 weft and single sided tape for the other 1/2 of the sandwich. The weight is less on my thin fine hair and blends better.
might have to try that next time. thanks! my hair is pretty short right now, so harder to blend using less tapes (esp if I'm doing length). But I'll have to try that method one of these days. thanks.
I love it, only thing Id do is use like an olaplex purple shampoo on the extensions because they have more gold tones than your natural hair. You did a better job than 99% of at homes do. Love it!
Thank you for this video. I also have fine/thin hair, I was wondering what are your thoughts on coloring or highlighting our kind of hair? I haven't colored mine yet but am slowly getting more and more grey hairs so I know it is getting closer to me having to. I have read that highlighting/coloring actually gives the hair more texture, essentially more volume, which would be really nice. But just thought I'd ask if you have any thoughts on that!
Hey, I’ve been coloring my hair for years now (blonde to dark and back). And one thing I’ve noticed is that anytime bleach is used, it really dries my hair up. And my hair looks/feels the most damaged on the ends, even with extra care. I’ve had the best luck with either face framing highlights or maybe half head of baby lights if you’re looking to lighten the hair. I’m not an expert & maybe it’s just my hair (everyone’s hair is diff) but looking back at my hair throughout the years, I noticed my hair feels the most dry on the ends whenever I lighten it quite a bit.
For the most part, yes. I loved how “invisible” the keratin bond extensions were and I could wear just about any hairstyle and they weren’t as noticeable. Whereas with tape ins, you’re a bit limited. But I hated the removal process for the keratin extension. Took forever and you have to dissolve the glue holding each small section to your own hair, and there are many! I think if you’re looking for something more versatile, there are micro bead extensions (no glue).
Sew in wefts? I heard those are one of the best options for fine thin hair. So if those didn’t work for you then I probably wouldn’t do tape ins tbh. I like tape ins bc I can do them myself but some brands, some of the tape residue remains in the hair after removal and it can be an issue trying to get it all out.
pretty good, esp considering the price. better of the ones I tried. blonde hair extensions tend to try out a lot more than darker extensions. but these were good, and were easy to remove. at least in my experience.

@@TashVitorsky Oh my gosh, you are too kind.
Yay the verse is back! 🤍
🤗♥️
I usually use the verses for anything non lash related. Mainly bc I created a specific lash intro for my lash videos.

You should try kpak repair mask from joico youll love it and As I am cowash will help your hair grow stronger and healthy and shampoo only once a week
Tash are these the ones you’re wearing in your latest video? Love.
It’s the same brand, yes. But when it was time to redo them, I went with a diff color.
@@TashVitorsky the new ones are spot on!
Is there a section of hair in between each row? Or is it like brinks, each row stacked right on top of eachother?
I like to leave a section of hair in between each row
Do you prefer these over keratin bond?

Do these ruin your hair? I have short fine thin hair and currently have wefts and it’s ruining my hair

Weft that are sewn pull on your hair root weakening the hair and pulling it out it’s not a good process for fine thin hair at all
How long can you keep the extensions in?
usually 4-6 weeks.
@@TashVitorsky thank you!
How did this hair hold up

hello, have a nice day 👍
You too 😊
How do you remove them? That’s my only concern
There is a remover made for tape in extensions. amzn.to/3ZmXQvY
But sometimes isopropyl alcohol works just as well, if not better.
How many sandwiches total did you use?
I can’t rmbr as this wasn’t recent. I believe I mentioned it in the video once or twice though ❤️
Maybe 12 ish?
