hearing through qkz hbb. i like the tune of this iem coz with elevated low, the high is not dragged up, not like the old kz such as edx or zstx. just perfect for those who want bassy iem without having sharp/piercing/sibilant prone treble. maybe if you compared to more top iem in the same price range, would be nice addition to this review, more resolute, like what youve done in your past reviews.
I'm currently using KZ S10 but I can't stand the sharp piercing treble and I would love to hear more bass. So would you advise me to get this one or is there a better IEM that can fit those criteria that im looking for?
@@thierrynkubito6846 These are the go to 20 buck cheap slamming sub bass - mid bass recommendation, decent detail retrieval aswell and follows good tuning, pretty clean, the bass slams harder than my OH10, S12 and FD5, altough the stage and detail retrieval is a lot less, it's still the best in this price range no question if you like bassy type tuning, get the 7hz salnotes if u are not a fan of slamming bass, or get both and enjoy for only 40$ very capable sets in different spectrums of tuning
@@thierrynkubito6846 7hz salnotes are not bassy at all, i see You are similiar to me in terms of preference. It's difficult to get fun sound signature in IEMs. I mostly use Koss Porta Pro - best overall sound but not IEM

These rock so hard. If you want a more technical approach go for Chu and 7hz but???? Man these are better. Way better for actual fun music. Once you listen to this you won't want to go back to those other two if it's for Rap, rock, metal, etc exciting genres.
have you owned kz or blon iems before, what's your take on this, i was a total noob when i got into the iem space, i currently own kz zex pro and edx pro. the zex pro which i believed to be very good , turns out to be damaging my ear and feels very silibant, cant even enjoy music at all, th edx is ear drum killer. i want to jump off from this and into something which is more smooth and thick asap.

I wanted to write the exact same thing, but then saw your comment. I also have the Salnotes Zero and indeed, they have a very 'audiophile'-like sound. I thought it was great at first. But then I got the QKZ x HBB's and after listening to them the Zero's sound so light (not in a good way). Guess the QKZ x HBB made me realize I'm not an audiophile 😀

Hey my man , i know this isnt a relevant question for this vid but is the blon bl03 still worth it , the salnote zero have no mic and the chus seem to have a lot of quality control issues , I've never owned iems before btw any replies are appreciated :)
blon03 also have qc issue, and tune not same from the early batchs. but the tune still great for people who just start this iem hobby. another issue with blon03 is the fit and the accessories in the package is very lacking (eartips and cable). just suggestion, buy cheaper iem than a blon, so you know what cheap iem can give you. my suggestion for this cheaper iem is cca cra or kz edx ultra. you can look their reviews first, many in youtube.
@@ankit2949 owned both bl-03 and salnotes zero. in my own ears (medium sized), blons are more comfortable than zeros. in terms of sound, they compliment each other. If you prefer warmer and bassier sound, go for blons. But if you prefer cleaner and a bit brighter sound, go for zeros.
@@ankit2949 worse than the proper blon03 tune, yes it is. i agree with the post above me. hard to recommend bl03 nowadays bcoz so many good iems with cheaper price. even kz esx will give you 80-90% the goodness of bl03. try qkz hbb if you prefer bassy iem for starter. the tune if upper mid and treble, one of fine tune for an warm bassy iem, even in general for this price range.
Oh btw, I think now it's safe to release KZ DQ6S review because the issue has been died down. In my opinion, DQ6S is the new Blon BL03 but I've yet to try the QKZ X HBB
I think you must have big ears with a huge hollow for the earphones you find acceptable to wear. i need you to say how big the iems are and how deep is the fin. I bought dq6 following your review and threw them out as too painful to wear from size and depth of fin.
Hey man, Im looking for an IEM for gaming and I can't decide between the KZ ZSN Pro and this one. What do you think is better for games like Valorant/Escape from tarkov? The mic from the KZ is very good (thanks for the video mate!) but I couldn't find any mic test from the QKZ x HBB.
Definitely go for QKZ x HBB, just bought this 4 days ago and damn despite its cheap price, when it comes to valorant, its like i have wall hacks on, the details u can get on these iem is so realistic, one downside tho is when there are too many things happening in the game at the same time, it makes the audio cue very boomy so you cant like decide where to focus at, but that's just it so far. I would recommend to buy a longer cable to replace its stock cable because its kinda short for a desktop use because you know, we do move alot.

I used to have the xb 55ap but I didn't like it that much I also had the qkz ak6. Preferred the bass and pricing of the qkz though they stopped working I also currently have the kz edx pro. The edx pro can have really clean bass in some tracks though not as much as the ak6
i have both. yes its worth it. the kz zsn pro x has too much treble which makes the iem sound too bright and sharp. its quite piercing. but the qkz hbb has just the right amount of treble for a relaxing a listen. its also fun sounding because there is a lot of bass. i dont support hbb but i would be lying if i say that these are not perfect for those who want a fun bassy yet relaxed experience. after using the qkz hbb, when i go back to the zsn pro x, my ears hurt from the treble and the bass doesnt sound as punchy. hence the qkz hbb is definitely an upgrade from the zsn pro x.

Don't bother with VK4 anymore, they revised it without notice. They're no longer sound that good compared to the OGs. 7hz Salnotes Zero and CCA CRA are now the safer choice below $20 / PHP 1000
The QKZ is tuned to be warmer and overall more fun sounding which emphasizes safeness energy to it, yet there seems to be reason not to compare this pair's drivers to the Zero as the Zero should comes with a higher quality drivers.
