Very nice to know of this Udupi style restaurant at PALAKAD. Rates are very reasonable. Kerala hotel food is always 30% lower in cost than TN hotels. I have seen this many times. Good to know they plan to open in CBE too.

Manoj sir, one small suggestion. Would be glad if you can consider. Since this is a Udupi based restaurant in Kerala, you could have asked the owner why he chose that type of cuisine and what motivated him to start that in Kerala. Those tit bits would be very interesting and will make the video more informative. Would be glad if you can consider.

My own view is this: PALAKAD has a huge vegetarian population which includes the Tamil Brahmin agraharams like Kalpathy, Nurani, Kumarapuram, Tarakad, etc. In the introduction itself Mr Manoj has said Sabarimala pilgrims will also like this place. Udupi tiffin items are liked by the local vegetarian food lovers. Leaving aside PALAKAD, the rest of Kerala is predominantly non vegetarian. In fact in several towns locating a veg restaurant is difficult. In big cities we have many veg hotels side by side with non veg ones.
He could have his ancestral origins in Udupi. There are Tulu Bramhins in Palakkad.
