I just picked up my 2025 frozen pure gray matte finish auto 2 days ago. Having PPf and window tint on it now. I put 200 miles on it under 4k rpm’s(1200 mile break in). I love it. Traded in my 2023 zl1 for it after watching your video on the z06 race. Keep the video coming.
How long did you wait from order to pickup? 😎
@@MrVanuvanu I put in my order on the weekend. They had 3 2025 m2 on the lot. Offered me the frozen grey. I didn’t want it because of the price and Maitance of the paint. Left called him back up 2 days later and said if you give me 65k for my zl1 I will come pick the frozen grey one up right now. Sells man did tell me 2 months.
@@isaacmeyers-c8b so dealer said from order and by the time you get it it will be only 2 months ? Seen on forums that some waited almost 6 months or more in 2023 and early 2024. Maybe now the delivery is shorter ?
Down where I live in Florida, 2024 M2 is going to be about 80K well optioned out the door. Whereas the Civic Type R is going to be about 52K. I'd obviously prefer The M2, But an extra 30k is a little much.
Bro where are you looking? I’m in Florida and see them go for MSRP
@@Entropied The best price I got was Coral springs Honda. 47,215 + 2,500 Mark-up. Originally they wanted $7,000 markup but they were reaching. Ultimately it's $49,715 plus tax and tag ETC which comes to a little over $53,000 out the door.
Rick Case Honda is charging minimum $5,000 markup, and Braman Honda the same.
If you know of any dealers that are charging $47,215 MSRP or even slightly less, please let me know. I'm considering the type R or a 2025 base M2.
Can’t wait for my 2025 specc’d with Java green metallic to come in! Keep on rolling out these vids, much appreciated sir. 🫡
Niocccccceeee color choice. 🔥
Im thinking about 2024 m2 manual 6 speed
Cool!
Nice video! What settings wouldnyou recomend to launch this car from 0 to 60?
DSC off and use launch control.
@@JVette01 it burns a lot of tiers, but I don't think is fastest launch. I use DSC 8 level and it Ggoes fastet then I think
@@HYLUDIGITALCINEMA launch control mitigates traction regardless to what you have your settings on.
@@JVette01 ok, will try one more time:) thx
I30n hatch seems like a bloody good package you can yell albert designed it
I dont know why but beside the different cluster and all assistances off in sport m mode I can feel a bit more performance, and even the exhaust changes a bit. Did u notice those changes?
No. That only changes the screen and driver assistance tech. Doesn’t affect performance
Nice explanation! Btw what are you using to record?
GoPro Hero 9
Hey man, been enjoying your vids the last while. Thanks, and keep up the good work. I recently got a 2024 G87 M2. Have you ever suffered from squeaking brakes? If so, what did you do to reduce the annoyance? I keep getting told that M brakes make noise, but surely one does not spend this amount of money on a car to sound like a garbage truck when stopping in traffic. Thanks in advance to anyone for any advice.
Mine squeak too. It's intermittent, but yes it's annoying. I think the only way to fix that would be to replace the brake pads with ones that don't squeak.
@@JVette01 Thanks for getting back to me. I'm definitely considering that option, but BMW motorplan will not like that, even if I pay for the brake pads out of my own pocket. Anyways, fantastic car otherwise!! Looking forward to part II of this vid.
Pretty common problem with performance brembo brakes. My STI suffers from it too and slightly got better with different pads but is still there. Most say it’s just something you deal with performance brakes on any type of car.
@@JVette01😂
The secret to helping that issue is an occasional hard stop! Usually, that helps a lot from what I hear!
Thanks for the overview, my 2025 will be here soon - I may have missed it, do you have the radiator and oil cooler guards installed? Hope I can permanently turn lane assist and speed warnings off with 8.5
No I don't.. and you should be able to turn it off.
@@JVette01 have you inspected your oil cooler for any damage?
@@fzr1000981 no, but I haven't hit anything in the road
@JVette01 you may want to consider a Zunsport guard for peace of mind - not very expensive and all it takes is a decent sized rock. Reports of engines being lost are out there
I'll look into it
