  • Hi! I'm Hyperion I have an unhealthy obsession with Lego minifigures, the figures in question include but are not limited to Ahsoka Tano and Professor Huyang from set 75362 LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle

The fact that there are 4 minifigures (100%) in a set that all have to-notch attention to detail is, for me, a really good sign for lego sets going ahead. Where in the past we maybe got one or two good figures with the rest being run-of-the-mill "padding", now we have sets where all the figures are of upmost quality.

Don't forget the Spider Tank! Well, the build might not be the greatest of all time, but the Bo-Katan and Mando minifigures are pretty good!

I've noticed that figures from new shows/movies are always way more detailed and better looking. I think that's a factor with the ahsoka figures, Compare any mandoverse figure to any recent ep.1-6 figure and you'll see noticeably higher accuracy and quality, I think it's to make them more appealing.

My main problem with modern Lego Clones is the new style they have. Before the 501st Battle Pack, we had the realistic and animated styled Clone, which were both very accurate to the source material. Not to mention they weren’t falsely advertised and didn’t have the problem we have now a days involving messed up helmet prints.

This set is pretty similar to the kenobi show Vader vs obiwan duel. Both sets come from brand new shows. Both have 4 minifigures who are all 9out of 10 to 10 out of 10. And both of them have good builds, with major flaws. The Ashoka set having zero pieces on the bottom side and the kenobi set being pretty much a base plate, never the less I love the play features on the kenobi set. The Ashoka set looks good from one side but definitely not the other

The figures are great and so is the build. I'd probably get this set if I didn't fucking hate the Ahsoka show

Yo, what didn't you like about the show? Not trying to start an argument or anything, I'm just genuinely curious since I personally loved the show, but I've also heard of a lot of people who didn't.

@brickboomthing7117 Oh boy, this is gonna be a long comment... I didn't like the characters or the plot, "Ahsoka and Sabine teaming up to find Ezra and defeat Thrawn with the help of the new republic" sounds amazing, if only the actual show lived up to it.
Sabine and Ahsoka didn't interact at all in Rebels, but Filoni decided to have them have a story that happened before the show, I don't like that for two reasons: 1) Sabine has never been force sensitive, otherwise Kanan and Ezra would've known in Rebels, therefore, she can't be a jedi padawan. 2) It's not fleshed out at all, we are told that something happened between them and they're not on speaking terms anymore, but nothing more, they just don't talk about it when it's clearly been such an important thing that informs their development into the characters they are in the show, they just stare ar eachother like: 😐. Another big problem, Sabine has changed a lot from her Rebels counterpart, she's just moody and sad all the time, I guess you could explain that one by saying her family died in the mandalorian purge, but we don't get that explanation until well into the show, when we should've had it at the start. She also just hands the bad guys the MacGuffin, which allows for them to get back to the galaxy, she also hides that fact from Ezra, in fact, they never tell him at all, but let me tell you, he should be FUCKING mad, because now he's spent 10 years in a different galaxy for NOTHING, and Ahsoka should be mad too, but she just forgives Sabine because everyone makes mistakes. She also uses the force at the end, which is complete BULLSHIT.
As for Ahsoka, I think Rosario Dawson can't play Ahsoka to save her life (a teenage girl with a fraction of her experience did it better), in addition, the arc Dave Filoni invented for her doesn't make sense. In Rebels, Ahsoka survived for years after the purge thanks to Anakin's teachings, she loved her master, and you could argue that after being saved by Ezra from death via Vader, she might've spent the coming years doubting if his master's way was the right one, yes, but she shouldn't believe that her "legacy is gonna be bad, yo" because the show happens after Ahsoka and Luke meet up, and he surely would've told her about Vader ultimately turning to the light, therefore, I think her arc makes no sense. Speaking of things that don't make sense, the world between worlds, what is it? Dave doesn't want to tell anyone but I think I've figured it out, it's a writing tool that can be used however and whenever because it has no rules and exists just to be a convenient way to vomit fanservice. What was Ahsoka's lesson they she so desperately needed to learn? Who knows? Hey, look! It's captain Rex in live action! Please clap!
Hera didn't come out of this show intact either, she bullies a senator to try and get her way, which is so unlike her, that senator is not her enemy, there's no reason for ger to be rude, also, the whole conflict makes no sense because Ahsoka, a jedi, part of the organization that saved the galaxy, knows that Thrawn is coming back and her word would be taken seriously. Aside from that, she brought her child to a battlefield, where two of her men died. She could've just left Jacen back home, oh wait, but then we couldn't make a reference to Kanan, my bad. Also, Leia has her absolved in the end. Even after her getting two pilots killed, I guess Leia is corrupt now.
I'd argue these characters have been completely butchered, I just can't think of Ahsoka as a serious continuation of Rebels.
The new guys Shin and Baylan aren't any better. They just stand there and talk about jedi legends that Dave made up to make Baylan sound more interesting than he really is, he gives fortune cookie advice to Shin and tells her he trained her to be "something more, than a jedi", for whatever that means, and 7 episodes later we still don't know who he is what he wants or why he wants the empire back on the galaxy. The only reason this character is better liked than the others is because Ray Stevenson can act even with minimal direction. Oh, I forgot about Shin. Well. To be fair, she did nothing of note aside from being pretty.
Thrawn felt dumb, that's not Thrawn, Thrawn is smart. Dave doesn't know how to write him.
Morgan Elsbeth is a nothing character that serves no purpose other than having another fight scene with Ahsoka. Also, she's not a Nightsister, that was bullshit.
Some other things I didn't like: The NightTroopers look dumb, the great Mothers Raising the dead was dumb, the way the Mothers could locate Ahsoka and Sabine was dumb, anything to do with the great Mothers was dumb, the Koopa from Peridia were dumb, Thrawn not being able to find Ezra was dumb, Ezra fighting without a lightsaber only for him to build one the next scene was dumb, "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away..." fuck off man, the new republic not checking if their employees are imperials was dumb and Ezra having nothing to do was dumb.
Huyang was the best character, and I love that he roasted Sabine, even though I don't particularly like him.
      And that's why I don't like Ahsoka.
TL;DR: Every Rebels character has been massacred, the new characters are bland, and the story is just dumb every step of the way.
