As a former die hard fan of Deportivo in 00s this is the most heartbreaking game, as the La Coruna team was never that close to winning Champions League...
I was really sad after this match. I was an Atletico fan but with them not in Europe, Depor were the next best thing.

Si a eso le añadimos la mala suerte (o la mala puntería) de Valerón en su mano a mano frente a Baía, no sé...quizás el Depor se merecía algo mejor.

I know it may be sound weird but she is my biggest love (at age 15, even though virtually ). I just felt now these strong emotions and 'the ocean waves in my stomach's emptiness'. I have been looking for the highlights of this game everywhere but i couldnt see her anywhere. And im serious about that!

El medio penal fue agresión en el area, quizas la historia hubiese sido distinta y le ganaban al Monaco y no hubiese bajado, lastima porque en Chile en los 90 era junto al Real Madrid, Barcelona y Atletico Madrid, los que peleaban la liga de las estrellas. Saludos.
Amazing game..... both teams are tremendeous ones in europe that year and fcporto was a fair victory wichs culminate the champion that same year....people said that year was inusual cause was not the same teams over and over again but thise teams are much better actually ,just take a look the great teams that fcporto,depor,monaco defeated that year and you will see how deserve to be there

Recuerdo lo triste que fué, injusto, igual fue medio robo, un penal clarísimo para el Deportivo no cobrado, por golpe y sin balón era expulsión, Porto con 10 antes de la expulsión de Naybet cambiaba todo, el Deportivo era mucho mejor que el Porto que fue Campeón pero hasta ahora se sigue hablando del Súper Depor y casi nadie se acuerda del Porto.
como puedes decir eso?! mejor? y nadie se acuerda?! se Porto tenia la gran parte de los jugadores de la selecion portuguesa de ese año que casi gana el Euro 2004 (que fue injusto que ha perdido) que dices?!
@@pedrofilipe8337 se bien lo q digo, no viste el puñetazo sin balón para roja, el Porto fue campeón pero el Deportivo era mejor, con solo haberles dejado afuera al Campeón y Subcampeón de la Champions era mucho mejor por más que Portugal fuera Campeón de la Euro, Selección España estaba mal, poner a Xavi Alonso en lugar de Valerón eso ya te dice lo mal que estaba desde el directivo.

El Porto fue campeón. Nadie discute pero no era más que el Deportivo, como se puede negar ese golpe contra Luque, la expulsión de ida de Andrade, lo mal que dirigieron los dos partidos??? Penales para el Deportivo no cobrados, no hay forma, no hay forma de negarlo.
Vencemos a copa Uefa em 2003,Liga da Europa 2011,Taça dos campeões europeus de 1987...campeão intercontinental 1987/2005...supercopa europeia de 1987...ninguem se recorda do Porto? E um dos clubes históricos da Europa!

6:40 I don't think that this young lady is still following football, since they lost this semi-final, and the situation has worsened after six years, now they are competing in the third tier of the Spanish football league! I will be glad to watch a match in their stadium to revive childhood golden age memories, as some other emblematic stadiums got demolished over the years.
I'm not that young lady but as a 10yo I got similarly emotional while watching this game on a TV in Minsk. I still support Deportivo (although it's kinda difficult to watch the games of the 3rd tier online). Just a week go I came back from Galicia where I finally managed to go to Riazor for promotion playoffs games - it was fantastic (apart from the end result though). 20k+ people at both games (it's the 3rd tier!), the whole city is white-blue with Depor flags flying from windows, balconies, buses... And yeah, same story as back then - first 4-0 win against Linares, then a 1-2 defeat from Albacete.
Maybe that girl even was at Riazor recently. People of La Coruna seem to love their team anyway.

Two penaltis for Depor. I'm portuguese, used to see FC Porto being helped. I remembered the goal on offside in Old Trafford, but didn't remembered that they were helped on this one too. Usual.
