    Which Team do you reckon will be the next to do an FC Porto in the next 2 to 10 years and become the new underdog story? 🏆

      Tbh, even if it happens it won't be as phenomenal as FC Porto's Champion's League run. Jose Mourinho is the 'SPECIAL 1' for a reason 👏🏾🥇🏆

    You're right! As a young Porto fan at that time, it really was a dream that came to life. But, there isn't a second without a third one.

    I miss those days when you had teams like Coruna, Monaco, Fc Porto, Lyon, that could beat the big teams and win the tournament. Theoretically, it is still possible, but i think the gap is wider these days.FC Porto, Ajax, Benfica, Sevilla, Monaco, Shaktar, Dortmund made some awesome runs after this one, but never reached title.

      True! 2019 Ajax came very very close. At the moment teams like Man City and Real Madrid are so far ahead of everyone else.

      @footballreminisce  11 месяцев назад +12

      At that time teams like Deportivo were really good
      They also faced the likes of Man United and Real Madrid so I think it would be unfair to say they didn't play anyone good.

      Real Madrid - Group stage, Porto drew one and lost one.
      Man Utd - having a bad season, finished 3rd in the league that season. Porto went through, courtesy of a wrongly disallowed Paul Scholes goal.
      Lyon.
      Deportivo
      Then
      As Monaco in the finals.

      @@cosmosokpighe4962 You just forget that Lyon were a regular presence in the quarterfinals, even years later.
      And you also forget that Deportivo defeated Milan 4-0.
      Monaco eliminated Chelsea (although Chelsea only became big the following year. Interestingly, only with Mourinho!)
      And is there a goal that can be offside? How many other games and other teams have been in the same situation over the years?
      What's more, Porto is the only team that won without money! Don't be ignorant!!!
