Join me as I walk along St John Street covering Clerkenwell and Islington.
This is a street with fine architecture, historical interest, connections to Smithfields and watch-making. As always, there's so many stories to discover. The Huguenots settled here in the early 18th century and brought their skills in watch and clock-making adding to London's great story about people coming here from all corners of the World bringing their craft and traditions.
In this street which originates from the Priory of St John there's been fires, sex cinemas that have been burnt down, breweries and glass makers. The history of London can be seen on this street.
