With the right coaching and training, I'm pretty sure Leylah Fernandez will go far. In a year's time she could be in the Top 5 or top 10 in the world. I see her more as a slow bloomer rather than a flash. She is discovering a lot of angles in her game and making sure her weaknesses are covered by her strengths. Speed and reflexes will be her constant companions. She will be faster and stronger in the next three years. In these years and onward, she will be the one to beat. Her tennis IQ which is already high will get higher by the day. My money is on her.
Leylah is so positive and is a pleasure to watch her play tennis. She is so intense while playing and seems to be so relaxed after a match. Keep smiling Leylah.
Most of us want to see both Leylah and Emma to go on winning more tennis titles. Leylah seems to be more dedicated to tennis than Emma is. I love these 2 players because they are natural and they are not muscular like men.
@@Courtside_Tennis I am not too sure if they can accomplish that again in the near future. These 2 girls ambushed the veterans at Flushing Meadows. Now, they don't have that element of surprise anymore. Hopefully, in another year or 2, both Leylah and Emma further develop their tennis skills and they will be on top of the tennis world and competing for many titles.
After this stuff....you can't stay "normal." Naomi Osaka is a cautionary tale about how success can beleaguer the young player. Let's see what happens. She's a player for sure......
She is incredible. I'm sure we will be seeing a lot more of Leylah on and off the courts in the near future.
Shes a lovely young lady that her parents can be very proud of!...shes going to go very far in the tennis world!...GO LEYLAH💕

It was a great game, made the US Open a lot more interesting this year! I would love to see a rematch of both of them in the finals of a tournament

They both accomplished a lot by making it to the US Open finals, hopefully Leylah will get more recognition this year
Is it a crime to wear your hair short in tennis?
