    Very nicely done intro to Sibelius - and you are very easy to listen to. Congrats on winning the competition - hopefully the performance will happen soon.

    Thank you for refreshing me a little. I worked and composed with Sibelius 10 years ago and this run through has helped tremendously to get back into the groove, I'll be back after I start working with the program. I'm sure questions will come up at some point. Excellent job!!!!

    So clean! What "house style" did you use? Or did you purchase a template?

    • @CarlosLalonde
      @CarlosLalonde  Год назад

      I'm pretty sure that was a default house style, but I now purchase all the new ones from Notation Central: www.notationcentral.com/product-category/fonts/music-fonts/
      I just love the traditional publishing style from the past century and beyond and I want to replicate that old-fashioned feel to my scores.

      Papyrus is the best. 2nd Place, Comic Sans.

  • @romeubarillari-portifosmus6972

    Hello. Ok? So... One question, please. Which VST libraries does Sibelius support? Does Sibelius allow for more than one or several different VST libraries in a single score? E.g. Noteperformer or Vienna for Orchestra instruments, Kontakt for guitar with pedalboard effects, UVI world suite and JADE Ethnic Percussion for ethnic instruments. Is there a possibility to use them in the same edition at the same time? Awaiting return. Thank you very much for your attention. Success on the channel! tmj 👊👍👏🙂

    • @CarlosLalonde
      @CarlosLalonde  Год назад +1

      Sorry for the late reply, but I don't use VSTs so I have no expertise in answering your question. Perhaps you could turn to the Avid Sibelius Power Users on Facebook since they are a community well-versed in all things Sibelius.

    • @CarlosLalonde

      Drum notation is a different beast altogether so I didn't cover them in this beginner tutorial, but there are good tutorials on RUclips, but I might make a follow up video explaining it too.

    How i can have just one line instead of 5. And add question mark on top of note? Thats for persian percussion. Tnx

    • @CarlosLalonde
      @CarlosLalonde  3 года назад +1

      Change the instrument to "Percussion with 1 Line". You can simply type control/command T to add text and drag it anywhere.
