Thank you for waiting for my new walking video. I missed you guys so much! Actually I'm very busy with my main job these days so that's why I can't upload videos often.😢 Today, we're going to walk for about an hour and 23 minutes(5 km) on Teheran-ro, Gangnam, Seoul in the rainy morning (Sinnonhyeon - Gangnam - Yeoksam - Seonreung - Samseong - COEX - Bongeunsa). In the video, you can see the roads flooded by autumn leaves and office workers going to work at companies in Teheran-ro, Gangnam. Please understand that it is difficult to see the front due to the umbrella. Thank you so much and always be healthy! 💜

Teheran-ro (translation "Tehran Boulevard") is a street in the Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea. It runs from Gangnam Station through Yeoksam-dong and into Samseong-dong. It is colloquially known as "Teheran Valley" (after Silicon Valley) due to the number of internet-related companies operating there. The district of Gangnam-gu experienced phenomenal growth and waves of construction, with Teheran-ro becoming one of the busiest streets in South Korea. Its counterpart, Seoul St. in Tehran, Iran, runs in the north of that city, close to the Evin district.
Teheran-ro is a 3.5 km section of Seoul City Route 90, and runs eastwards from Gangnam Station to Samseong Station and the COEX/KWTC complex. Yeoksam and Seolleung stations are also on Teheran-ro. All stations are on Seoul Subway Line 2.
Some of Korea's tallest skyscrapers and most expensive real estate are in Teheran-ro, while Seoul Metropolitan Government estimates that more than half of Korea's venture capital, some 200 billion won (approximately $200 million), is invested in Teheran Valley.
On 27 June 1977, the Seoul Metropolitan Government suggested that the city of Seoul and Tehran, pre-revolutionary Iran exchange the names of streets on the occasion of the visit to Korea of Gholamreza Nikpey, Mayor of Tehran. The following year, Samneungno street was renamed Teheran-ro, which then ran through a relatively underdeveloped area that been annexed into Seoul in 1963.

Dear Nathan, first of all I want to thank you for walking in the cold and rain with wet shoes for almost an hour and a half and with wet clouts because of us. I love South Korea very much
There are people and cars going about their business above ground but there is another world below ground. What a fabulous place Korea is. Everything is clean and it all looks new, with no litter or graffiti anywhere. I am sure there are parts not so nice but that is the same in any country. Thank you for allowing me here in UK to see your wonderful country. I would love to visit someday but I doubt if I ever will, so keep walking and show us your country.

I agree ! The place where I live is not at all colourful n beautiful ! People here r so boring and there r no beautiful views to be seen from the balcony or windows ! Whenever I study I feel like I should have been living in Seoul where the views from apartments' balconies n windows r so so so beautiful !

What a beautiful city. The architecture is really impressive. It's got this ultra-modern, almost futuristic feel that really resonates with me. The police cars look really sleek and cool too, way better than the ones in the UK.
A couple of cultural differences I noted; 1) Lots of people running. Very few people run here in the UK even when they're late for something (probably why we're all so fat.)
2) Not holding the door open for the next person is tantamount to a declaration of war.

I clicked the video I thought its Teheran. Then I noticed its a street named after Teheran my hometown. Now I know not justTeheran has a street called Seoul, but also Seoul has a street called Teheran :D I googled it now and I found out that Teheran and Seoul are sister cities since 1970! 'Ro' means avenue, 'do' and 'gil' means street in korean.
