As someone from America, I really wish we had cities like this, NYC is kinda similar but it still lacks the history and culture that cities in the UK have.

Fantastic video - so atmospheric. There's something magical about London in the rain. As a born and bred Londoner it's one of my favourite things about our great Capital.
One my favourite and funniest moments happened in Soho while it was raining - I was around 12 and my grandpa took me to see an art exhibition and walk around (this neighbourhood is one of his favourites). We were walking by a road - he was on the shop side I was closest to the cars - when a taxi went by fast and splashed a puddle all over me. Because of how we were walking I covered the blow from him - he found it hilarious while I was soaked and grumpy. I look back on it and it’s my fondest memory with him :,)

I so enjoyed this. I've been visiting London since 1995 and of course traveling now is quite different for Americans so I won't be visiting this year. I was impressed by the couple with the lady having a smoke and a drink outside under the umbrella with her date. That's the spirit- a little water shouldn't stop you from enjoying life.
You do realize London isn't that rainy. It has less rain than san Francisco, Barcelona, new York, Miami, Houston, Sydney to name a few. It's very cloudy though.
thank you for this video, i am in isolation for a while and for some reason I cannot leave my room most of days. Going to the big city is like luxurious. Sometimes I go view google map, rather than my window because it is the same view. London may be daily to some people, but to me, it is like a far far away dream. So looking at this is really comforting.

I spent about a year in London studying English. During that period I had a very emotional feeling to see the rain. we became friends,(so to speak) and loved it so much. I suggest to anyone (unless maybe if your extremely introverted), if you ever get the chance, particularly if your young...live in London for a year. Its a truly magical place that has an energy to it that you swear you can feel at times. I personally lived there for longer and it never lost its sheen, some of my friends say they will live there forever (some were done with it after a year or so). For me there is no better place to be when young and care free. Warm summer nights out, drinking in a sunny park listening to a local band jamming, eating macaroons and cinnamon rolls in covent garden on a rainy day, bumbling around for hours people- watching and looking at the sights.
Thank you - I soo loved this. I'm English but I've lived in South Australia for many years where we don't get much rain : ( I'd love to see a walk round London at Christmastime : )
Thanks so very much for taking a wet one for the Watched Walker team!!! I guess the good news, I read you dearly need rain just like we do as we are in a severe drought in the Southwestern part of the US. Also, I finally got to see where Ronnie Scott's jazz club is located. Excellent video again and the only thing missing is some cool jazz soundtrack LOL!! Stay safe and be well!
The West End of London...arts, culture, theatre, nightclubs, restaurants and plenty of shopping. And people from all over the world who go there. Even the rain doesn't take away it's charm.

I love rain and this makes me happy and not depressed
One of things that I like the most about England is the rainy weather. It looks really relaxing.
Bro i live near London and, trust me, waking up for school in the winter when its still dark outside and raining, hits different...
Glad it was helpful!
It is more than 20 years since I was in London. It's nice to rediscover this wonderful city in this video. The quality of the video and audio is breathtaking. Continue with this great work. Thank you so much for this video and the great impressions of London.
The Walker, thank you so much :)
Please help me
I want to come to London 9506582967
Hello, are you from London?
I spent about a year in London studying English. During that period I had a very emotional feeling to see the rain. we became friends,(so to speak) and loved it so much. I rarely used the umbrella because I am from a country where there is very little rain. Seeing this video brings me back to those beautiful days I spent in London. thanks walker.
Come back and see us any time :)
@@jackwhitehead5233 It has always been a dream to visit London again. The city I loved walking in its streets. But if I return to it, will I enjoy the Latin music that emanates from its narrow streets? I think I should visit London to find out the answer .
rain and London are just like body and soul..a relaxing and soothing experience indeed! may it grows more beautiful
I never see such a beautiful place in my life like london, it is amazing i pleased with this place i fall in love with the rain 🌧️ that shows me how to live a life happily.
Thanks for sharing this video.
I live in Islington and haven’t been any further into Central London than where I live since I was told to pack up my desk 7 months ago. So strange seeing it all now, just a few miles away yet so distant. Can’t believe it’s been 7 whole months since I’ve been there after going there every week for 20 years.
your missing out on south london. just saying
It's definitely worth a few stops down the Victoria line. I always make a point to go down to Central when I'm down.
Hello, are you from London?
This video brought back good old London memories .. i was lucky to have my office just 5 mins away from this place .. each day after work , this used to be my routine traversing through the lively London streets eg -Oxford street/Bond Street .. used to start from one place and without realising would end up another place .. thats the beauty of London i guess .. u cud map the entire Central London and all major attractions on foot which i believe is the best experience you could have
Man, quality of the camera is so good. It feels so real to watch it in 4k.
I love the rain, it makes me feel great, it relaxes me, I just love it. I love the rain, it makes me feel great, it relaxes me, I just love it. Unfortunately in my country it does not rain much, but watching these videos the truth also make me feel better. Thanks a lot ❤️
I didn't realize I repeated a part. Haha
It's my dream to walk on these streets on a rainy day and to eat in a cozy aesthetic restaurant on a cold Snowy day. My friend told me that it's raining there right now. Oh how I wish I was there.
Everyone who is living my dream Stay happy and healthy. Sending you love❤😊
can wait to see this amazing city in the rain........

I lived in London 30 years ago, I miss it if I see this, even the rain! I used to walk around a lot in this area, I worked at 'sweet centres' candy shop in the Trocadero building while I was doing my internship as a fashion designer. Those days were awesome. I wish to come back soon!
Looks beautiful, through your video, we living in other parts of world got a chance to see London. Its the lights, people who are lighthearted and doing their own stuff unmindful of others, the beautiful buses which are curved, the lights, their reflection, wide and narrow roads which both look beautiful, the rain splashing sounds, no dangling electric cables!! think electric cables are underground, all roads with drainage covered and closed, its a magical sight to watch even in video, thanks for sharing
The contrast between the beautiful cityscape and the light on the screen is the best!!
The rain made london more beautiful and i really love those views
I know it’s hard to walk on a rainy day, but it looks awesome !! Love to hear the rain sounds 😍👍☔️
NW, yes it's more tricky though I find it quite relaxing too :)
Your videos are so priceless for people like us who can't afford travelling to London. Best wishes from Sri Lanka.🇱🇰
TG, greetings to Sri Lanka!
Sri lanka should become British again so we can make it like London
@@sdprz7893 you mean kissing your independence goodbye for a few pretty streets? Doesn't seem sustainable mate
@@pooja350 These pretty streets don't just come out of thin air, it's a sign of a strong economy and a developed nation. No Independence to be rich? sign me up
Hello, are you from London?
This was so MAGICAL! Thanks for taking us around London. The rain makes it even better!
I miss being able to get on the train and just go to London for the day. Videos like this just make me wish even more for the day this all ends...
Just WOW ! The buildings the people the Rain - Perfection. Love your walks - super jelly !
London looks so different compared to earlier this year. Great video which sums up the mood
I live in london and usually rains a lot and i didnt realise that rainy days could be this beautiful..
It really doesn't rain much in London - it's one of the driest capital cities in Europe. It has less rain and fewer rainy days than, say, Paris.
@@Alan_Mac When i was writing this comment it was actually raining a lot ill be real, but yeah
This was great escapism, i really felt like i was back in Soho for a few seconds. Relaxing too. Thanks for posting this.
Love your simple but beautiful content. Imagine people a few hundred years away watching your footage 👏
Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa. Never been to London but after watching this it's going straight onto my bucket list. Breathtakingly beautiful.
Dream city! Classic, modern and elegant. I am in love with this city. I hope one day I can go there...
🇹🇷❤️🇬🇧
Lovely video. Mixed levels of serene, tranquility and sadness. Almost like a noir film genre. Really brought back memories of my shopping days at Oxford Street ages ago. Wish I could be in London again. Sad to see the homeless sitting in the rain though.
I miss London so much, especially here in quarantine (I'm from Germany). Can’t wait to go back someday - thank you so much for all your videos, they make me feel so nostalgic in a way. 🥰
Come back whenever you like! We'd love to see you again :)
Thank you very much for this video. My mother and I both love London very much, and we fell in love even more when we watched it. it's a really great country, and I hope one day we can get there, God willing. love from Turkey 🥰
I would like to thank you for this great long video you really made me feel like I'm walking among people you are amazing. I was watching this video on my laptop, then I got excited and looked at the TV and said why not watch it on TV, I connected the HD cable and I got a big screen and the feeling is very nice. It is now 2:32 am and no one is awake and I have turned on the air conditioner
Really, the feeling is wonderful, I can't describe it. I have always dreamed of living in London. I don't know if it will come true, but I hope so. For everyone who lives there you are very lucky. ♥️
RUAA AA, thanks very much!
So pretty , beautifully romantic in the rain and quality walk , thankyou fella
Thanks Stephen!
Nice to see people who are walking in the rain with their umbrellas' on. Love the rain and London! ❤
Hey. I love your walks. I've commented before. I live in Covent Garden. So when I'm feeling extra lazy I just put one of your vids on. Imagine I'm m getting my exercise for the day. I can't sleep. It's 2.30am. I've got a cup of tea, some lovely night lights & I'm enjoying wet London while I'm inside!
It would be interesting if you could do an interactive walk. People could decide which way you go, live.
Keep walking!!
Vicky, sounds like you had a nice early morning viewing experience! I have considered doing live interactive walks, obviously there are safety concerns, but I might try it sometime - it could be fun!
Once i thought of visiting london while snowfall, now rain is also in the list and that too on top
Come and see us friend, we'd love to have you :)
In love with this video. I have been in London for Xmas in 2019. I close my eyes and it is like I am already there again. I watch this video every time I want to relax. Take me back to London. 🤍from Greece
Just finised watching, thoroughly enjoyed it, you made a low light gray evening in the rain fascinating, the rock steady camerawork, smooth as, the street lights reflecting in the rain and the sound of rain in the background, kept thinkin about the streets of Paris and what u could there.
Thank you Tom! I love Paris, can't wait to return and film there again - perhaps in the rain if I'm lucky!
Beautiful walking with you. I really love London!!! Thank you!!
So wonderful! I may never get to physically walk down these streets.. you're doing it for me.. with great quality video.. (actually looks better on tv than i can see in real life)
And raining yet!?
How are so many people out just milling around.. just fantastic
Thank you
As someone who's always dreamt of traveling to the UK, this is amazing. The video quality is crazy good. Love watching these videos. Like taking a trip to a new country while sipping tea from the comfort of home
I do love this channel also, I feel the same as you 😊
I suggest to anyone (unless maybe if your extremely introverted), if you ever get the chance, particularly if your young...live in London for a year.
I'm English but I've lived in South Australia for many years where we don't get much rain : (
I'd love to see a walk round London at Christmastime : )
Glad you enjoyed it Angela, I'll be doing lots of walking at Christmas time - take a look at my previous year's walks if you haven't already :)
Robert, we’ve certainly had enough rain lately here!
Same heavy rain fall in charmouth Dorset too LOL
This made me want to come here even more. Thank you for these videos - thank you so much. This is extremely calming for me.
Come and visit us, we'd love to see you :)
I appreciate the captions with the detailed information. Very helpful and interesting! Great videos! ❤️
I lived in London for 5 years and feels like I have never been to this city after I watched your amazing walk 😀 Keep doing these walks )))

The West End of London...arts, culture, theatre, nightclubs, restaurants and plenty of shopping. And people from all over the world who go there. Even the rain doesn't take away it's charm.
