🌍 PRIMX | Innovative Logistics Center in Bålsta, Sweden
We’re proud to have been part of the construction of an innovative logistics center in Bålsta, Sweden, covering over 20,000 square meters with a focus on total CO2 neutrality in both operations and materials.
With the PrīmX® system, the facility features a 4’’/95 mm jointless concrete floor, reducing CO2 emissions to 26 kg (57 lb ) per m²-a 46% reduction compared to traditional solutions. This amounts to a total CO2 saving of 392,548 kg (865,420 lb). 🌱
"This project was amazing and significant to PRIMX because it involved a collective effort towards building sustainability. Collaborating closely with the general contractor and developer, we all shared a unified vision to build greener. It's fulfilling to see how the shared commitment has resonated throughout the entire team, from those working on-site to the administration in the office. It highlights the impact our work can have beyond jointless concrete floors-it's about making a meaningful difference in our environment and communities," explains Roberts Klaviņš.

"Our project has aimed to be best in class regarding embodied carbon. The concrete floor is a very important part of this puzzle. Rather than exchanging cement for fly ash or other components, the focus has been on optimizing the concrete floor in every point, reducing the amount of materials to the site. This has proven to be the best way of reducing the carbon footprint today."
