    I almost bought the stoeger, but got a CZ P10S for $399 instead. Price difference was about $75. So I went with CZ.

    I have well over a thousand rounds through the dagger and have had no issues with the gun. I think the dagger feels better when just holding the gun but my glock 19s (gen 3/5)feel and point better when shooting. When I take my friends to the range the gun I let them barrow is the dagger so it gets lots of new shooter love haha.

    I got (2) complete Dagger lowers for $99. One 19 and one 19x size. One runs a dagger slide the other is one I built. Both work great. I also have a Combat Armory Gen3 frame with OEM lower parts kit and it's the best "Glock" I own.

      @@spnfirearms for the price the STR9 and the dagger really should be getting much more attention from the gun community and Glock too. Glock is still $500 new.. these other guns are around $200 new. These guns also have improvements over glock like better grips and steel sights... If a guy was new, just getting into guns, he'd want to know about these

    First pistol I’ve had break was recently and was my g26 mim firing pin. I did dry fire in training but didn’t expect a Glock to break. Stainless steel replacement on the way but very concerning.

      Ok, I'm gonna take some heat for this. I can already hear it.
      Buuuuuut....
      There's several Senior Techs in Glock's Support department that *do not* recommend dry firing them. They recommend practicing with snap caps. Due to... firing pin breaks, and punched out slides.
      Take a look at the inside of your slide. Where the firing pin sticks through to strike the primer. Check that for damage, too. Glock says they will cover that damage, under warranty.

      I would think... they'd put it in their manual. Hey, don't dry fire with these!
      But I hope the new pin works out really well! And yeah, watch that spot in the frame for damage. Like I said, that's something they'll cover under warranty

    After my experience…I’m sorry to me daggers are fun at the range firearms that’s it….as far as carry I can’t trust my life to a “Great Value” Glock 19 clone unless it has Glock OEM internals. The PSA dagger I’m in on Facebook users always having some issue. I would definitely get that Stoeger over the PSA dagger.

    I wonder what makes the Palmetto State armory trigger squishy and gritty? You can do a polish job to get rid of the gritty, but the squishy I would think would be a spring issue.

  • @808G8GT

    You actually should have the light stick out past the barrel on a close quarters carry gun. That way if the attacker unexpectedly got too close, they can't press up against your gun and put the slide out of battery. A light that protrudes further than the slide will help prevent that.

      I sometimes conceal the G19 if it is fall/winter and I have an overshirt/jacket. But since I got the G26 I almost always go with the 26. Both are amazing. So I'd say the G19 is concealable, but I tend to prefer the 26 and carry a backup G19 mag. Keep in mind that I carry at 4 o clock. I know some people appendix carry the 19 and it seems to work for them.

    • @user-dq9pq8uv4e
      @user-dq9pq8uv4e 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@Adam_Wilde Adam, a lot of people also "bandito" the 19 at appendix too. (That is NOT A RECOMMENDATION, unless... you WANT to blow your junk off....)
      Chryslertechnician - I've got several jackets that I could pocket my friend's 19 in. So it's... doable. I'm gonna be honest, if you're talking about IWB (Inside the Waist Band), it actually helps if you're more of a meaty guy, with the 19. Seems like the more curve you've got to you, the better that it hides.
      Is there smaller and lighter? Yes. It is a reliable firearm that is good for extended shooting? Oh yes. However, as will ALL recommendations, get your hands on one first. The grip, and grip angle, are a make it or break it for some people.

    Out of 2 dagger frames, the mag releases are out of spec and wont release the mag unless pressed straight in. Pressing harder doesnt really help. I wish this want an issue because other than this problem (and the worse trigger) i think they are well made.

    • @user-dq9pq8uv4e
      @user-dq9pq8uv4e 10 месяцев назад

      Frodo, it's not the spec. It's the spring. Very stiff and takes too long to break in. Recommended to replace it with a regular Glock 19 spring. Then, Happy thumbing 🙂
      Edit: Well, they call it a spring. It's actually a spring steel rod.
