Great review. I have bought an STR-9C and love it. I have had a couple of Glocks and they are good guns a-bit over priced now days but this Stoeger stands up to the Glock just fine.
The first thing I noticed on my STR9-C is the slightly stronger felt recoil. Once I got comfortable shooting it, I focused on aiming and holy cow, this thing is super accurate!
I purchased a STR9-C 6 months ago. 2000 plus rounds and never a FTF or FTE. My groups weren’t great but all in 8 inches. I few weeks ago I purchased the STR9-SC. My new favorite. I’m shorter with smaller hands. My groups shrunk by 2 inches. Shorter barrel and grip fit me better. Smaller frame is easier to conceal as well. EDC is a left side IWB I put on the right at my kidney. Gun fits and shoots. Smaller folks check it ouT.
What holster and do you have a light ?
Excellent, practical review. I LIKE simple, plain-Jane guns that just work. No fancy knobs and gears; don't need "upgrades" and "customizations". THE GUN DON'T WIN THE GUNFIGHT but it DOES have to work. Simple is better. Looks like this gun delivers.

I have the exact same color and all it’s a beast right out of the box sights on target, you can’t go wrong with the Str9c it’s a Glock clone at an affordable price and the back grip feels great to me.
Stoeger had an April rebate of $50, I couldn't help myself and had to buy this STR9, from Academy sports for $299.
JoeBobs has mags for $37 bucks. I'm set.

Awesome compact I have the full size version love it there great guns so far. Only have about 200 rounds threw it with no hiccups.
I have 5 different pistol brands in my closet.they are all well above the new stoeger in price. I paid 269$ for my STR 9C WITH 1 magazine...13 round... have ordered 3 more. I took it home, broke it down and cleaned it. took it to the range shot one hundred rounds (115 gr) at 7 yards I put every round except 3 in the black bulls eye pretty much shooting the center out. it wasn't a slow fire. it is now my carry gun (replacing my Glock 26 (gen 5)it is one of he sweetest gun I have ever shot in my more than 60 years of handgun shooting. try one and see what you think.
What holster do you use?
Considering one of these.
We've seen how many guns get introduced at a low price, only to go up in nearly double within the first 5 years after they become popular. So I'm going to go ahead and call on my stoeger right now before they start going for $500 in a few years
I agree I believe by the time this one it’s 500 Glocks will be around 800 I think it’s a safe bet. 👌🏽🤟🏽

I bought this pistol today and a soft rifle case for my ruger 10/22 rifle and paid 286 for both items but I work at academy sports and outdoor and get 20% off LOL! I will run 200 rounds of Monarch 115 grain target ammo thru it this week and let you guys know how does....I think Monarch ammo is great, I use in all my Springfields XDs & XDe and my Ruger/Taurus G2c and GX4 with no problems at all. Academy has 200 round 9mm ammo for 74.99....Great buy!! Federal, Browning, Winchester and Monarch, no limit on ammo now!!!!
Buying a full size STR-9 on Wednesday and am super stoked. Great review! Thanks for the heads up. Will have to buy extra mags from someone other than Stoeger as they are sold out.
Just bought two at $219 before a $50 rebate from Stoeger. Really looking forward to trying them out. Will probably use the rebate to buy extra clips for each.

First, you’ll have to get a firearm that takes “clips” and not magazines.

I got my BRG9 Elite for $199.00 and it came with 2'mags, hard case and a full cleaning kit. and it takes XD 9 magazines and fits an XD9 holsters is clearly the deal of the decade. If you're charging me $300 it better come with at least two magazines. That one magazine BS is a deal-breaker for me.

I sold my CZ p10 because it wouldn't run steel or aluminum ammo. That's my personal biased.

Dagger, Dagger, Dagger...
Please do a video on the PSA Dagger.
The Dagger should fit in quite nicely with the other mid-size, budget 9mm pistols that you have already been reviewing lately.
Right now there are a lot of choices available on all the different options for this pistol - at the PSA website. You can save a few bucks and buy the parts to assemble your own and simultaneously build your perfect model.
The Stoeger does have some eye appeal but the spare magazines cost 40 bucks or more, and that's just wrong.. Stoegers can be purchased from PSA too, BTW.
anyone know of any night sights that will fit the str9c
For almost the same amount of money you can get a taurus g3c with 3 magazines. Great review though
Sorry, too many recalls on Taurus, wont trust it with my life. I do trust my G19.
