As an old strider walking around the internet my heart brought me back here to enjoy this song in 2020. See you in years to come. I'll be back Tomorrow. Let's rock through life.
12 years later and I still think this song is underrated. I lived and breathed this song for years. The sound engineering is superior to so many tracks. It's thick and rich. And, one of my absolute favorite lines of truth is in this song... "Everybody loves to be in on the pressure. But I know they're all waiting for the crash. You never dreamed you'd have to live your life so guarded. Because they'll find a way to make you feel discarded" This applies to so many things that I've talked about for years. Look at anyone who takes a chance to speaks out or voice their opinion (RUclips is a great example). They are ridiculed and pushed aside for no reason. Then everyone gets on-board so people instead choose to bottle it up.
Totally agree... those lyrics you chose are exactly spot on to what happened to me at work.. i got discarded... how it rings true all these years later is like time travelling... powerful stuff.. are we living what we listened to all those years ago, are we a reflection of the lyrics or is it just a weird way the universe works? i'll never know, but i'll know SR-71, had me all those years back, nice to reflect all these years later!
dog199200 I agree they had some good music it sucks they didn't sell better. The lead singer did right 1985 for bowling for soup. Sr-71 does 1985 find it on here it's a little different
I love the shot with him down on the floor board with the two making out in the background. They do it right when he is talking about feeling discarded and hes down by all the other trash.
Mitch Allan is the ONLY PERSON out there who would EVER have the ability to replace Chester. His Voice sounds SO SIMILAR to his! Tell me I'm not the only one out there who hears it?!
found an old MiniDisc with the "tomorrow" album on it. reminds me of when i went to Australia in 2003 and i had this album on repeat. wow the memories! great song and great album.
Tomorrow (the album) was such a step up from Now You See Inside. Even their third, and final, album, Here We Go Again, was very good as well. Crazy that last album came out, way back in 2004, and then nothing else afterwards. 20 d**n years ago...such an eternity ago now. Time f**king flies.
Interesting fact lead singer of SR-71 went on to write and produce songs for Faith Hill ..Demi Lovato..Zendaya..Kelly Clarkson..Miley Cyrus...Pitbull and Daughtry among many others.. I still like Sr-71 best :)
I was playing Right Now earlier because I remembered it from the year 2000. Then I decided to play through their albums. Never really listened to anything else from them and I regret it now because this song is AMAZING!! I can’t believe I never heard it until now!!!!!
I remember listening to this song constantly three years ago. I found it randomly on youtube and it described exactly how I was feeling at that moment. Came to think of it again today. I'm glad I did.
They could have done more songs like this and Goodbye, they sound so good. This kind of songs fits them more than the happy songs they made. They were great to make angry music. They only made these two, which are really similar to each other . I wish i could find more songs like Tomorrow and Goodbye, even from other bands.
@@jasminecobain8582 I guess it flopped cause the fans were used to the pop punk stuff and this kind of came from left field.... but they pulled it off way better than when Crazy Town tried to sound like Linkin Park.
