@@ToxylTV I have indeed studied audio engineering and no, this technique was not part of the course. It wasn't even metioned in any way. I also know a lot of professional audio engineers personally and not a single one of them uses this technique. And last but not least, have I never heard a mix using this technique, that beats the "traditional" way of mixing in any way.

As someone who just started trying to learn how to produce, these Disciple tutorials have been awesome. Super helpful and interesting video, thanks Fox (and Disciple)!
I swear sometimes things get in my head and supply exactly what I want. Fox Stevenson. Tutorial. On mixing and mastering. This couldn't be more perfect thank you so much.
Watching this gave me sort of a morale boost. I don't suck at making music, I just suck at mixing and mastering to make things sound good. Thanks for the free education both Fox and Disciple!
That bow-tieing tip was exactly what I was trying to describe in talking about a problem I've been having with my kick and sub/bass. Thanks for putting a term to it!
Remember fellas, your favorite producers or idols use the most unorthodox techniques to mix/master etc. don’t be afraid to try new ways of doing things!
OMG! I’ve enjoyed this video so much, without understanding anything about music production. Thank you Fox Stevenson, thank you Disciple. Let them tell me again that EDM is just mashing buttons on a pc!
That pink noise technique is friggin' cool. I've gotta figure out how I can utilize that with my current plugins. At the very least I understand what I can do in similar respect to ozone and different shite. I've got Multipass which allows for a lot of that. That friggin' pink noise though is mind-blowing.
Holy shit lottttsss of super advanced tips here. Im actually surprised. For a while I've run into tutorials where they're showing stuff I already know but I can say i learned plenty of cool ass tricks here.
man, I haven't learned this much from a video since a while .. I always wondered how did u get those transients, that's amazing that you share that, thanks so much !!
Does anyone know if there is an EQ feature in FL Studio to do the pink noise/EQ profile of the track @ 20:00 ?? Have never seen that done before, definitely want to try to incorporate in FL!!
At 1:04 Is he putting a limiter on the master that affects all the tracks? Or is it only on the tracks of the main elements not including the kick and snare?
Fox: I'm sure there are some links below
Disciple: N A H
xDD
The pink noise technique is amazing, it’s been used in profesional mixing since the 90s! Love how you explained it Fox!
I have literally never seen any professional audio engineer using that technique.
@@luc_official i've never seen anyone kill themselves, wanna help me out? lmao **literally**
Lucas Diehl have u ever study sound engineering? Cause they taught you that technique. And trust me people use it.
