Best skit comedy skit show of all time.
sketch
@@chrisjaybecker Both terms are correct.
Yeah, you write a sketch then perform it as a skit...
For a show,of course...
😊
I believe it really is the best for overall quality, consistency and intelligence.
SCTV = Classic comic gold.
I always loved when Moe Green would get flustered--out would come his handkerchief to wipe his brow (21:04) LOL RIP Harold Ramis
Thanks for sharing! SCTV is comedy gold - not just the various shows-within-a-show, but also the backstage sketches featuring Guy Caballero and other station staff members. There will never be another show quite like SCTV.
The Incredible Bulk, HILARIOUS!!!!
STV lights up my life
As funny as she was, Kathleen O'Hara was very sexy...❤❤❤
Lovedthis show...
I watched an interview by Conan O'Brien with the remaining cast members and at the start, he spoke about feeling like only person watching this amazing show...
You had SNL starting out with a kickass cast of their own for 90 mins...
SCTV had 30 mins...
And they were funnier....they had to be....they had a theme, a day in the life of a TV station...
Brilliant and improv also...
I remember as a kid then thinking ,
"Boy itd be cool if chevy chase worked with John candy or Gilda and Eugene Levy..."
Then find out they pretty much all did in the Second City comedy troupe..
😅😅😅
Also found out i wasnt the only one watching...
Thank you to whomever located these and had the motivation to upload them. Been looking for these.

Cabellero's a tyrant! And LaRue's a louse!!
The only thing that ever came out of Canada that was really funny, they had to spoof American culture because nobody cares about Canadian culture, not even Canadians.
Um, ever heard of Martin Short? Jim Carrey? John Candy? Eugene Levy? Catherine O'Hara? Andrea Martin? Joe Flaherty? Rick Moranis? Dave Thomas? Seth Rogan? Mike Myers? Dan Aykroyd? Phil Hartman? Leslie Nielson? Dave Foley? Rick Mercer? Howie Mandel? Lorne Michaels? NORM MACDONALD? Will Arnett? Thomas Middleditch? Michael J. Fox? Jerry Dee? Matthew Perry? David Steinberg? Nathan Fielder? Ryan Reynolds? Ryan Gosling? Mary Walsh? Katherine Ryan? Tom Green (well, maybe he doesn't qualify). I could go on and on. But choose from dozens yourself.
You have no idea what you're talking about. What are you, an arrogant American?
@@pickledragonrebel an arrogant Canadian from Toronto lol
Yeah, because French, Swedish, Canadian and Italian movies, Shakespeare, French Impressionist painters, English writers, space aliens, Canadian beer drinkers, British actors, Alfred Hitchcock, Canadian Mounties, European gypsies, Indian yoga instructors, Russian novels, the list goes on and on, are all examples of American culture. Okay.
What about those Canadian guys on the telly who were having an average weekend every week, for a number of years? 🤔
