On my 13th birthday my mum handed me a small envelope and after carefully opening it inside was 2 tickets for the filming of this exact bottom live show. It was brilliant!!! I met both guys after the show and got them both to sign a copy of the joy of sex book I brought with me just in case. I'm sure heaven is a more fun and bonkers place with Rik there. 🙂
Rik Mayall is such a sport...Eddie always get the biggest cheer and he plays up to it as Eddie always arrives on stage 2nd. No Ego involved its just about putting on the best show
This is the best Bottom Live Show of them all, set in the home town of Hammersmith were the series was set and had the most best gags ever, plus this was the first live show I saw at Xmas 1995, I'm old school and love the British classics, Bottom is no.1 up there for me!
I remember seeing the live shows on VHS as a kid (way too young, but top parents) and always thinking to myself 'Man, I can't wait to actually see this live one day'. Still heart breaking that that day will never come. RIP Rik.
Pure comedy genius, their chemistry and comic timing is amazing. Rest in peace rik mayall, gone but certainly not forgotten. Watching bottom is the only time I laugh out loud, brilliant.
Makes me smile all these years later. Happy Times. I like to believe its viv and rik have aged and live together. Me and my brother watched these two together. Good Times. I feel me and my brother are still sat together watching this even though he is no longer here.
I remember when i was 6 (around 1991) Bottom was apart of my evening TV routine on a Wednesday. I think Bottom was on at half 8. Then id game on my Master System 2 for an hour while Gardeners world was on and then get bk on BBC1 for Red Dwarf. Bottom will ALWAYS have a place in my heart. Me and my late brother used to absolutely go mental to the show we'd do the fight in the beginning sequence of the show.
31.49 The Zippy moment is so funny. I could barely watch the rest of the show, kept bursting out laughing at that wonderful little bit of inspiration. These two were just so great together.
Absolutely hilarious RIP Rick mayall legend what a comedy duo Rick and Adrian were this is just brilliant a time where you could do whatever for a laugh no offence or anything wish comedy was still like this
I was too young 😫 Was sooo pissed off when Ade decided to cancel the Hooligans Island TV show because by then I was finally old enough to watch a viewing.
