"Zeit" (time) is the title track of their last album so far. That album is created under the impression of personal losses of the band members. And in almost all tracks of that album there is a melancholic touch, even in the upbeat and funny tracks. A central line in the lyrics of this song is "Zeit, bitte bleib steh'n, bleib steh'n" (time, please stop, stand still). Of course that is not possible. It's about the unstoppability of time.

The three cloaked figures looking like the Grim Reaper are the norse Norns: Past, Present and Future. They constantly weave the fabric of Time, sometimes they cut a thread and someone dies, and someone else is automatically born. anew.
I lost several loved ones to COVID at the time this video came out, and it hit me like a wrecking ball.

They got an older song called "Ohne Dich" (Without You), that could be part 1 of this song. Very similar in chord progression, melody and theme. Even more beautiful than "Zeit"
