    Tamara, your creative topics are endless! In response to those who say, "leave the poor bees alone", I say they have the whole damn forest to drill into so, plug those B-holes! By the way, I'm sure glad this wasn't a tutorial on ant-holes! Might get put into RUclips jail!🤣

      😂 I am pretty sure RUclips would NOT allow a tutorial on ant holes!
      I am all for the bees doing bee stuff in the forest, just not on my house! The same way I feel toward termites, roaches, ants, meece (ha ha), and so on. 🙂

    Perfect timing. Was about help neighbor rid their facia of Carpenter Bees. Ordered the smaller bottle DE. Seems it may work for wasps, ants and roaches also. Unfortunately, the squirrels may like it …… haha.

      Ha! Hopefully squirrels are not fans. DE is definitely helpful for all kinds of mean bugs! I poofed a couple of wasp’s nests in progress while making this video. The only downside on those is that I had to be ready to run…fast! 😆

    Very good advice! You happen to know if there’s any way to deter them from coming around in the first place?

    • @MonkeysKnow
      @MonkeysKnow  2 года назад

      Not that I have been able to find. There is a spray that can be applied to wood, but it’s very sticky and catches EVERYTHING that flies or floats. So far, making them feel unwelcome and filling their holes is the best way I’ve found.

    a few years ago i saw sawdust on the edge of my rear deck, then i noticed the hole and i was thinking really hard why would anyone go in my yard and drill that hole. about a week or two later i was in the yard and i saw that bee go in and start drilling and saw the sawdust come out. i got went in and grabed the masquetto spray and shot a bunch into the hole and got the bee.

      Ha! Their holes are so perfect it absolutely looks like someone used a drill. Hope you haven’t had any more trouble with them!

      I’m just glad they can’t sting! 🐝

    Tamara, your wrong about carpenter Bees, female can sting, but males do not. carpenter bees are pollinators and are very important in nature. This is what I do, you already have a hole in the wood let them have their babies, which is important for the environment. Fill the holes at the end of the Sumner, you're still filling the hole just later....Don't be a bee killer, save the bees...

      Good to know they can sting! I haven’t run into a stinger yet.
