Hey, gal! Glad to hear... You are very talented and we all appreciate your sharing. What a fence! Put some yellow for inspiration and orange for creativity near you, Tamara!
Nice to see you back. Glad the fence worked out. We do use an invisible fence. Our boys do bark at anyone on the street and delivery /utility trucks, but don't cross the line after the first time. A beeper goes off first and warns them to back up. They have long memories. Had one go off in my hand once, won't make that mistake again, fingers were numb for quite a while. I didn't like the idea at first but the alterative is them getting hit by a car or in a fight with dogs being walked. Over 100' to the road and about 120' to back fence. They do need room to run. Again nice to see you back. Hope you had help with the fence.
Hi Tamara! Welcome back! I hope you took videos of the fence work. My wife wants a fence to contain our four dogs but I am resistant. We have 16 acres and I use the dogs as part of our security system. I believe you can train dogs to know your boundaries and respect them. It just takes time and understanding neighbors.
As the saying goes... "Like a good neighbor, stay over there." 🤣 I'm having a similar problem. My neighbor has an invisible fence for her 3 large dogs and they charge and bark at me and my dogs every time we are on that side of the property. Twice one of her dogs has gotten out and scared the bejesus out of us. Then there is the matter of getting the dog back inside the barrier. I think those fences are cruel... Anyway, I'm thinking of a roofing metal fence along that side of the property. I'm restoring an old bungalow colony up here in the Catskills NY and I think the roofing medal will look kinda vintage like the bungalows. I look forward to your next video. Welcome back!
Great idea with making the fence match your restoration work! Having a visual block for the dogs will likely help a lot. The best part is, since you will be building the fence, you can put the pretty side on your side. 😉
Great to see you back and you look great also! My young doggie likes to fetch at least as much as yours does. I like it how you have the pickets on your side of the fence, giving you the better looking side to see. I can imagine that the materials cost a pretty penny with the price of lumber how it's been. I recently bought a 96 F-250 with a 351 Windsor. My logic was that I just might need to pull a skid loader someday and my Chevy is just a 1/2 ton. I feel as if I could write a whole chapter on my experiences on rebuilding the rear brakes including the parking brake assembly. I also just ordered a Amico brand Stick welder through Amazon. I should soon be able to weld outside on windy days. Hopefully it will weld a little bit thinner metal than when using flux core. Have a great rest of this month!
Let me know how that stick welder does in the wind! And I bet you had quite a time finding a 96 F250 right now! That beast will run forever. 😊 I somehow managed to get my lumber when there was a brief dip in price so fortunately didn’t pay nearly the price of a few weeks later (or now). Whew! These puppies never ever run out of energy for fetch for sure! ☺️ 🐶
@@MonkeysKnow Great to hear back from you! I ordered the Amico welder just yesterday after doing some research of different welders and now I'm wondering if I maybe I should have ordered the 200 amp one for $30 more instead of the amp unit. The 200 amp one does Tig or some form of Tig of which I question the quality of. But it's that extra 40-amp rating that gets my attention. That's less than $1 an amp! I really didn't have too hard of a time finding the F-250 but I had to go to St., where Jesse James' boyhood home is, which is a little outside of the Kansas City metropolitan. Thank goodness for Lyft drivers! The low point is that even though I looked underneath it I didn't realize until after I bought it that the catalytic converter was missing. So, it cost me about $1,800 to have the exhaust system fixed. I painted the new one with Chevy Orange engine paint to hopefully deter any potential thieves. I also painted the wheels front and back with Rust-Oleum white. It really makes a difference in the looks. I'm glad to hear that you bought your lumber during a price dip. I keep putting off building a shed in part because of the lumber prices. I think I'll focus on re-shingling my roof pretty soon instead. Talk about puppies with energy; Shelby, my fetch-crazy one, has been really good at not running off. Nevertheless, a few days ago she ran off on me. A couple hours later I got a call from someone about a mile away from me just across the state line in Kansas whose young daughter had found her wandering around and looking scared. So maybe Shelby went looking for Toto.

Hi Tamara, Great to see you back. it's really sad that you had to put up a fence and sad that people can't be neighborly. Its also sad that you have to live in the manner, in which people are true assholes. As a owner of six dogs, they are as precious as my kids and they are cared as such...The damage is done and time to move on. Cant wait to see what's in store in the coming months...Stay Strong and again welcome back...
Tamar, Stay Strong. The way I respond to unfriendly 'neighbors', is to simply ignore them. The day may come when they need your help, tell them to dial 911.
Very happy to see you back all safe and healthy. Have some fun and relax in your new and improved back yard now!! See you on your next video.
Thank you! ☺️ I will!
Yay
Your back!!
Lovely fence, puppies look huge
🙂
Missed your fun videos
😉
Thank you! ☺️
Wow huge fence! Good on you for having the patience to do that. Very talented. Looks like a very peaceful area you live in too. Nice country feel.
Thank you! It is a very nice place to be. 😊
Such a beautiful fence and puppies! I'm hoping to build a fence like that soon.
Thank you! Good luck in your fence building too!

Thank you! Glad you are keeping yours safe too! Yes, I did have help on the last leg of this fence which was when I needed it the most! 😊

If your neighbors are nice and understanding, then your dogs do have time to learn. 16 acres is a wonderful amount of space for them to get to roam!😊
I sure missed you. Glad to see your back. Looking forward to your new videos

Wow, that's a lot of fence. As someone who has built a fence before (but now I know better!), I hope you had help. :D
I did get help on the third leg of it, which was exactly when I really needed it!
Welcome back! The fence looks like it turned out really nice👏🏻
Thank you! I am pretty pleased with it. 😊

Thank you! I feel the same as you about my dogs. 😊 🐶
nice job on the fence, i hope you sealed/water proofed both sides.
Thank you! And definitely. I don’t want to have to mess with it again for a loooong time.
Glad you’re back.
Thank you! 😊

Thank you. Now that I have the Great Wall, it is much easier to ignore them. 🙂
Good fences ensure Good neighbors.
That is definitely the hope!
Rubbish
Wow what a fence! What State are you in? Very picturesque
Thank you! I monkey around in Louisiana. 😊
