두 봉우리의 모양이 말의 귀처럼 생겼다 하여 마이산이라는 이름이 붙었다

Maisan is a 685m mountain on the border between Danyang-ri, Jinan-eup, Jinan-eup, and Dongchon-ri, Maryeong-myeon, and has two peaks: Ammaibong [685m] and Sumaibong [680m].
The shape of the two peaks resembles the ears of a horse, hence the name Mai Mountain.
