- Lakers Draft picks Bronny James and Dalton Knecht could spend time in the NBA G League. James definitely looks like a guy a few years away but Knecht seems like a guy ready to earn a rotation spot for Lakers Nation out the Gate. Lakers News has both likely getting time in the G League.

Bronny did not look good at all. Didn't run his lanes on fast breaks, couldn't find pocket passes, couldn't read coverage, he needs ALOT of work
All these rookies, without a doubt, need as many reps as possible, even if it means starting the season in the G-League for Knecht. One of the biggest mistakes Ham made last season was putting a bunch of pressure on JHS to start the season and then setting him up for failure by having him run backup point when his biggest knock coming out of college was operating an offense, only to then spend a majority of the first half sitting on the bench. One of the great things I remember Byron Scott doing with Jordan Clarkson was having him play both in the G-League and in NBA games to get him as many reps as possible because Byron wanted JC to run the offense, but he knew he needed to improve that part of his game. Look at what JHS did once he went down to the G-League and was able to play under less pressure. It allowed him to build some confidence while working on his game. Let’s not get things twisted either. I’m not saying the G-League will transition perfectly over to the NBA, but it can be a great stepping stone. Lastly, Reddick needs to make sure the South Bay Lakers are running the same offense. That way, these young guys can learn to play the right way, build good habits, and it will help them transition to the NBA if and when needed.

Once bronny makes a basket in real game then he will be off to g league. Now based on how his has shot it may be to trade deadline before that will happen
KNECHT is good enough to be in the rotation or the starting lineup. I like Knecht better than Reeves. He's bigger, more athletic and can shoot from the perimeter better than Reeves.

Only young guys they need are DK and max! Reeves needs to go while you can get something for him. Because after another year of him being exposed. he’ll really be un tradable lol.
