    I'm from Algeria, a developing country, I definitely saw trucks from Dayun and Foton Here, probably other brands as well, Mercedes and Other european brands only appear in old trucks (from 80s and 90s max). Chinese are more cheaper, but mostly I believe it has to do with politics as well. China is less likely to pressure other countries for political stands using economics unlike Euro-USA side when it comes to parts or supply for more trucks. Thanks for sharing this video with us.

      Construction equipment and heavy vehicles at discount prizes are a convenient and cheap way for the chinese to get a chokehold on a country´s ability to execute infrastructure projects and keep goods moving. The difference is that the european manufacturers compete at market conditions while the chinese brands are all connected to the state and are obliged to execute the state´s policy if needed.

      If China were to open up to the global market in the same way as the rest of the world does for Chinese imports, there would be no restrictions. Companies that want to sell to China or produce there are being so harassed and restricted by the government and forced to cooperate with Chinese companies that competition on an equal footing is not possible. Not to mention the theft of intellectual property and the production of plagiarised Western products. And the Chinese government even shamelessly encourages this. There are really good Chinese products, but cars are not among them. Not to mention the catastrophically bad design. And then you wonder why imports are being restricted. Better inform yourself in future before you spout such nonsense.

    The Chinese trucks are now taking over or have already taken over the trucking market in East & Central Africa. First, they are more affordable pricewise i.e 40 to 45% of the European trucks (Around $50k per unit compared to $120k). Secondly, they are improving the quality continuously and currently they are economical to run and spares cheaper to buy and much more improved quality wise. A new truck can last 4-5 years before requiring any major maintenance. This is enough for the truck to pay it's capital outlay several times. Engine overhaul costs only $1000 or less. They are manual with Injector pumps so easy to repair. No Adblue / DEF systems headache....and so much more... Tailor made for Africa.

    At first they produced very weak and poor quality trucks and people complained a lot. Now they are kind of heavy gauge metal hence too heavy which translate to less cargo weight so people still don't like them that much but looks like the next 10 years they'll figure out what people need and would be the most dominant trucks in the world.

    • @雅君墨客-i9z
      @雅君墨客-i9z Год назад +7

      With China's manufacturing output already equal to that of the G7, America's decoupling from China is likely to become its own decoupling from the world, not the other way around.
      1, China's manufacturing industry has caught up with the G7, China is a large quantity, the other is a high value of a single product.
      According to the data of the Bureau of Statistics, in 2021, the added value of the first, second and third industries will be 8,308.6 billion yuan, 4,5090.4 billion yuan and 60,968 billion yuan, an increase of 7.1%, 8.2% and 8.2% over the previous year, respectively, and the proportion of the three industries will be 7.3%, 39.4% and 53.3%. Among them, the manufacturing industry accounted for 27.4%, in order to compare with foreign countries, with 17.73 trillion US dollars of GDP calculation, manufacturing output value of about 4.86 trillion US dollars, which is also the first time that China's manufacturing output value exceeded 4 trillion US dollars.
      While the US GDP last year was about 23 trillion US dollars, manufacturing accounted for nearly 10%, and the US manufacturing industry was about 2.2 trillion US dollars, and China was already more than twice that of the US. By the way, the primary industry in the United States is only more than 1%, less than 2%, and the agricultural output value of the United States is actually much lower than that of China, which is the world's largest agricultural output value and largest industrial output value. The G7 outside the United States, that is, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and 6, their GDP is about 17.5 trillion US dollars, slightly smaller than China, the output value of these 6 manufacturing industries is 2.63 trillion US dollars, mainly because the proportion of Japan and Germany is good. In other words, the combined manufacturing output of the G7 is $4.85 trillion, which is basically the same as China's $4.86 trillion. China's manufacturing industry one by one can match the G7.
      2, however, unlike the G7, China's manufacturing industry is still growing rapidly, especially last year because of the appreciation of the RMB and the rapid growth of nominal GDP, China's manufacturing industry increased by more than 20% in dollar terms. Last year, the global manufacturing output value was about 13 trillion US dollars, and China accounted for more than 37%, the G7 is about the same proportion, and other countries only more than 25%, and China's manufacturing industry has achieved one third of the world ahead of time. Because China is still growing rapidly in the next few years, it is estimated that China can account for more than 40% of the global manufacturing output value in 2025, and may even reach more than 45% in 2030, and even reach half of the world's peak is not impossible.
      Because China's steel and aluminum are actually China's initiative to reduce production capacity, China's iron, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, cement, coal account for more than half of the world's current policy relaxation to increase there is room for China to raise an independent industrial chain.

    Those chinese trucks and chinese construction equipment brands you are not familiar with are very popular allover the world.. Those Howo's and Schacman dominate the South East Asian truck markets.. XCMG, lonking, sunward, etc equipment are so common in any asian construction site..
