fun part of the crash is, is that the girl who crashed her car in the window even uploaded a video on tiktok where she said it was her first ever crash and it wasnt even her fault, cause someone ran a red light, but now millions of people have seen her first crash😂
Yeah you can clearly see a white SUV bumped her tail. Either she was extremely unlucky, or the hosts of the podcast were extremely lucky. Or both. 😂

Sometimes things happen too fast to generate a response and then it's over.
One time my car spun completely around on an icy freeway, I almost got hit by a truck and ended in the median ditch. I felt nothing.
I find it so funny that after the woman said "he's in my trash can" the police had to take a second to just process that before reacting and asking where it was and running back
I think it took her a minute to look through the footage so they were probably just hearing a disembodied voice speaking to them with no context

For those wondering what was going on with that airliner, that engine was surging due to fuel or air flow issues. Heading back is always the right call, because either one can lead to big issues if you don't land immediately.
And for those wondering... Yes, your twin engine aircraft can fly on one just fine in these situations.

I have to admit, I wouldn't have thought it odd to bring a memory foam pillow on a camping trip. I had no idea they freeze up solid.
Memory foam softens with heat. Same applies vice versa

1:59 yeah my dog had one of those, he had diabetes really bad and we took him to the vet, and later we came to get him and he couldn’t walk at all, so when we got him his fur was cut on his legs and arms, and they had one of these on his neck, unfortunately later on he passed away. 😢

fun fact about the diabetic cat thing: diabetes is completely reversible in cats! Our 8 year old went through it from December last year and was given a clean bill of health after about 7 months of insulin treatments and monitoring with the insert just like the one at 2:00! Now he's as happy and healthy as ever :)

I had a glucose monitor like that for my dog. It was really helpful for getting a glucose curve and figuring out how much insulin to give him. As far as I’m aware they’re not permanent though they last two weeks and have to be taken off.

well it looks like the thing my dad who is diabetic uses, he replaces it every two weeks i believe
@@travisinhell12 i am a diabetic and i change it every 10 days. i dont know if he has the same sensor but thats how long mine lasts.
@@rykersgamingadventures i think it depends on the model you have. I use Freestyle Libre and it's every 14 days. I believe the Dexcoms are 10 tho?

It's nice that these podcasters use close up mics and thus put out an easy to hear interview unlike NPR interviewing someone with a desk based gadget that picks up everything in the room as well as their indirect voice. If that was the case here overload would have been the results when the crash occurred, I didn't hear anything at all. Good micing!

As a camper myself I know that bringing an entire pillow is usually just a lot of extra bulk. Usually I just grab a pillowcase and fill it with my laundry or spare clothes. The memory foam part is hilarious though.

We had a cat that lived to 16. Half that time we had to give him shots in the morning and 5pm. He became either use to the schedule or could tell when he needed his "fix" because he would come and ask for his shot. RIP Oscar.

@@mimilopmemes7915 Everyone is entitled to have bad opinions. For some reason, I'm guessing you are not a diabetic. I remember being in the car as a kid outside of Xpect and the dread in my father's body right before he went into the store to pick up insulin for the first time. I'm glad he stuck around.
Not everyone is able to provide the level of care a cat with complicated medical issues going on needs and difficult decisions have to be made, and the terrifying thing is there isn't always an obvious right or wrong.
I had an orange, flat-faced soulmate growing up, and one morning, when I was home from college, I woke up to find him in the aftermath of a devastating stroke. I made the call before my parents were ready to make that decision, and I was right there with him until the very end.
It absolutely happens all the time where people confuse selfishness for love. Quality of life isn't the only consideration that needs to be made, but it should always be the first, and unfortunately, people forget that because it's really hard to let go.
One day, I walked into the living room to discover my father sprawled out on the floor in horrific pain due to diabetic ketoacidosis. He would have died alone in that house if I hadn't been there to call 911. Especially type-1 diabetics like my father have it really rough. There are also a lot of chronic medical complications resulting from diabetes that can be worse that diabetes alone.
So, quality of life can become an issue. What is ridiculous, though, is making some kind of categorical statement when the only context you have is that the cat in this story needed two shots a day.
Why would you risk putting doubts into someone's mind about such a potentially sensitive issue when you don't know the person or what the details of the situation were? That's the part that bothers me. Otherwise, I wouldn't care.

I continue to be blown away by the fact that I regularly love watching DDOI. I have a long history of not liking "compilation content" channels, and that is still true. But here there is such special sincerity in the compilation, I love it!
