Ive purchased many pans over the years and this has been the very best pan. Heats up fast, holds even heat, cooks real well and cleans up beautifully. I wish they had one a tad larger as well. Not to knock this size because I need it, just love the pan so much that one larger would be great as well. Ive used this little pan at home many times as well because I like it so much. Ive had mine for almost 4 years now, as good as new.

The lid that fits this pan is the winco 2 1/2 quart sauce Pan lid. Fits like a glove.!! 13 dollars on Amazon and worth every penny!!

Thanks John, looks like a good piece of kit. Maybe a sled or wilderness trailer would get your hot tent into the bush without too much effort. I think about it, but then think maybe I don't have the energy. Better stick with the car camp; me too.

A fine cook kit could be put together using Stanley products: just pick the major item in each set and fill in with the added gear as needed. The fry pan you previewed would be a major piece of my kit. The Stanley cook pot set would pretty much round out the needs of any teenage beginner. If I were out alone, the setup would work for me.

i have a few stanley products and love them, easy to clean and use. they pack away and nest great and so far no issues apart from my cooking

Stainless steel pan with a storage lid is nice so if you have left over food you could leave it in there and rewarm

It was seriously windy! downed several limbs and trees near where I camped. The wind chill was significant!

Looks like that stove is working good. I have a Stanley small camp steel mug that has a fold out arm. Man, I haven't seen one of those OD green canvas bags in a long time.

You might be able to take your pan to some thrift stores and find a lid to fit for just a few cents. I've done that a few times

Wonderful recap and expansion on breakfast…had my stomach grumbling. What do you feel is an ideal size frying pan for wild camping as opposed to car camping? If you’ve used titanium frying pans, how do they perform compared to this Stanley pan? Thanks Brother!❤

If your cooking for just yourself you can go smaller but if you're cooking for multiple people the size of that Stanley would be good. I have an anodized, non-stick skillet roughly the same size as the Stanley and I prefer it for wilderness camping. Very light weight and packs well. Titanium is fine for vessels you'll be boiling water in but for frying or sautéing, the flame creates hot spots and causes uneven heating and scorching.

I have noticed the Wal-Mart locations in my area do not always carry the same items or brands, which I find odd. Half of the locations near me carry Stanley cookware the other half do not carry any Stanley products. 4 locations total.

Well it looks pretty good to me. When you first started eating I could have sworn that I heard an elk. Do you have elk in your area? I don't know why you can't call it an unboxing you to unboxed it. Have a great day and may God bless

The plastic lid that they come with it fits! Just use a little muscle. Lol

I like Stanley products too but like everyone else they have gotten too greedy. The knockoffs will do just fine until Americans are done conning other Americans
