Hi Brian, Many thanks for taking the time to view your latest outing. It was a super day with the settled weather adding to the adventure. Cheers Charlie

Hi Charlie cracking video and commentary blessed with good weather and stunning views brings back happy memories doing these munro's myself keep them coming looking forward to the next one
Hi Kev, Starav is a stunner when the weather is like this. I've been up that shoulder a few times now and it still goes on for ever...lol. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Heather, Was that not a cracking day. Glen Etive takes a bit of beating with settled weather. It was cool but the heat is getting there. Cheers, Charlie
nice one Charlie! did this over two walks and found that outlier a real trudge! wish I had done it in a single albeit long walk like yours...didn't get views though so might get back! cheers Charlie. Paul
Enjoyed this, Charlie. It's a good few decades since I last was up Ben Starav, so it was good to see it again, and the superb views from the summit. Not much snow left now !!
Hi Ian, The glen isn't in great condition at the moment with all the ongoing water works but the tops certainly make up for it once you get to height. A cool breeze but the winter is over and things slowly heating up. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Moses, The weather was amazing and the location stunning. Views as far as you could see... just terrific. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Andy, The views are stunning when starting from the coastline. It's always enjoyable when the tops have a bit of shape and character like Ben Starav. Cheers, Charlie.
Lovely video again Charlie, I loved Ben Starav when I did it along with GBM. Still to do the one at the back. You got great conditions Charlie and that was a dramatic Sky at the end of your walk. Cheers Frank.
Hi D&L, Hope you both are well.. Ben Starav is a bonnie top with plenty of character and no favours given when starting from sea level. Cheers, Charlie.
Amazing clear conditions fellas. Not sure if it’s the light, but the clarity of this particular video on my HD telly was spectacular. Keep em coming Charlie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi David, Glad you enjoyed our latest trip. The good light certainly helps give the clarity to the movies and a joy to watch on a large HD screen. Cheers, Charlie.
I’m enjoying your videos! I notice the majority are recorded in spring (like this one) or the fall. Why not summer? Is there a reason I’m not considering?
Hi Mark, No reason as our walking is an all year activity for us. Weather and family commitments are the main reason for gaps in your walking log. Cheers, Charlie.
@@charliemccartney7055 Thank you for your reply! Any recommendations for someone who is an experienced mountain hiker, but new to hillwalking and the munros of Scotland?
Another cracking day Charlie. I did Starav for my 100th munro last Oct and really enjoyed it apart from that walk out from Glas Bheinn Mhor - it seemed never ending down along the stream. Have to go back to do Beinn nan Aighenan, how long is the walk from the Col and back? Look forward to ur next outing
Hi Selwyn, You should be under 2hrs getting back to the col. There is a good path all the way and you could travel light up to the summit. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Alistair, We're trying to get an idea of where the fitness is at ahead of our Ullapool walking week in May. Probably less prepared than previous years but we'll see. Cheers, Charlie.
We did these three at the weekend past Sat 3rd June and it was roasting. Fantastic day out. Thanks for sharing this and bringing back good memories

Did starav and GBM about 15 years ago. Walk out from gbm wasn’t great. Should’ve done the 3rd one while I was there
Hi Bob, I've found its always easier to include the outlier if you can as its a long way to go back for the single. Cheers, Charlie.
