I think one of the greatest feelings is when a book’s elements sound silly yet right up your alley so you read it thinking it’ll be a goofy fun time, and then as if by magic it’s suddenly a masterpiece you cherish (like Shark Heart for you!) 💚
I did enjoy Alone With You In The Ether by Olivie Blake...it was beautiful but it was very purple and dense. I'm scared to read her other books because they don't seem to get much love. I have to be in the mood for that kind of writing. I'm so thrilled that you gave Shark Heart 5 stars because that was a top tier read for me. I need to reread it to annotate but I'll probably use a whole sleeve of tabs...
Some more books I must check out lol especially the first one....I did read and finish the masters of death and loved it....I loved it for the game playing and the relationship between death and fox hard to explain but I loved it.....but we all have our opinions and im still gonna love your channel and videos.....sending love xoxo
I have two types of DNF: unrated and 1-star. If I start reading something and it turns out it's not a book for me, perhaps I'm not the target audience or I have a personal issue with something in the book, I won't rate it. Books that I DNF because I physically cannot get through it (I read at least 20%), because of writing or plot issues for example, are rated 1-star.
