Hi ana, loved this video! But please don't use/support AI art. I know it can sometimes be hard to find artwork to match your characters/worlds, but AI steals from actual artists. Not tying to be on a high horse or talk down on anyone, but as an artist myself I feel obligated to point that out!

I bet you wouldn’t because you would consider that stealing. AI images are made up of stolen artwork. Just because you might not care, doesn’t mean she doesn’t. I wasn’t being mean to her or anything, just pointing something out.
I know AI is bad, and I have cut back how much I use it. And id really wish I could stop using it all together, however I have aphantasia. So I can't visualize my characters when I'm writing or how I want a scene setting to look. I can think of how I want to describe it, but it's hard if I don't have an image right in front of me. And I can't afford to have an artist draw them for me, because I believe that everyone who does labor for someone should be compensated for their time and labor. So, what should I do? Because I've tried googling the description and nothing fits how I think they should look. I've scrapped so many WIPs because of this. And it isn't like fanfics where I can just use celebrities as the face claim. AI has its faults, and there's a lot of bad, but sometimes it's a useful tool. It just needs a better way of being programmed, like actually paying the artists (of all kinds) that they train the sequencing and stuff with and having artist consent. It's just the people creating the bigger known AI generators are corrupt people who don't care about the little people they're knowingly hurting. Again, id like to stop but there isn't much options when you don't have disposable money.

Could you do a video on writing a novella or novellete versus a full length novel? Like how you setup the plot, the storyline to be a full story but without too many elements to meet the small word count? I want to write some but not sure how to approach it without feeling like I need more

I’ve stayed subscribed all this time but this is actually my first time watching a video of yours in almost a year, I think - I think I was having breakfast in our hotel room while on holiday in Italy - but I didn’t want to exceed a whole year so I’m back. ^w^ It was immediately clear that you’ve grown so much while never losing the cutesy, cosy vibes in your videos - I missed hearing “hey, writerly besties”! And wow, a cyberpunk project! I still remember project.ghost and project.orchestra, I hope I’m not misremembering that title, and this is once again a different and interesting idea. ☺️ I’m glad you mentioned Arcane, I’ve been interested in watching that. I’ve still plenty of time before the new season comes out. The reason why I haven’t been as engaged in “writertube” this past year or so... I don’t really know what happened after I got back from holiday, I just sort of fell into this hole of... I don’t even know how to describe it (and I don’t wanna go too into detail about my random problems)... anyway, until recently, we’d been living abroad, as we did for most of my life until now, and I thought moving back to our home country, Paraguay, which we did in June, just a few days before my twentieth birthday, and I had this idea that doing that would somehow fix all my problems - I would start going out more, I would be more productive, I would reunite with my old friends here... but when we got to the Airbnb we stayed in for the first few weeks, I found myself overwhelmed by a feeling of nostalgia, but not the nice kind, as well as dread, probably of having to get reacquainted with everything here once again, and worrying my new life wouldn’t meet my expectations. The first couple of weeks, not even that, were fine - we had a little get-together for my birthday which turned out to be nice and I saw the masterpiece that is Inside Out 2 but less than two days later, I got sick for about a week and that sort of killed any energy I had left in me. We had to stay in two more Airbnbs (which I feel has sort of instilled this mentality in me that our current situation can never be permanent, in a “never get too comfy” kind of way), one for less than twenty-four hours and one for over a month, which was enough for me to unfortunately get quite settled in and attached, before finally finding a permanent place, which is in the same building we lived in before we left for Frankfurt in 2019, it’s a virtually identical flat and maybe the fact that I changed so much during that time away is why I feel so uncomfortable here a lot of the time, it just brings back unpleasant memories and general feelings and vibes. It’s not awful but I feel living somewhere entirely new (within the city) would have been... symbolic. So yeah, I’ve never stopped thinking about my stories and characters, I don’t think I ever could, and while I haven’t technically written anything in almost three years - shocking, I know - what I get down in notes could maybe fill a book or two, probably little ones. I can’t remember whether you’ve ever mentioned watching Bridgerton but I recently came up with a story idea that I’m very excited about greatly inspired by one character from it in particular as well as something sort of from my actual life - I like coming up with ideas that dramatise real events and things in my life - for example, if a rhino passed by my school once (note: this never actually happened. I have no idea why this was the first thing that occurred to me but I wanted a made-up example), now, I’d think to myself, “what if it had broken in?” and base a plot on that. Ana, I’m really sorry if this rambling comes across as inappropriate or simply annoying; I think channel owners can delete anyone’s comments so please do so here if you feel the need, I won’t do anything like this again if that’s the case. It’s just that this is all somewhat related to writing, my ultimate passion and dream in life, and I don’t really have anyone to talk to about any of this (or anything in general) and I supposed at least *someone* here might be able to relate to me or... maybe have some advice? This was my first time moving as a technically-an-adult but the seventh time in my life overall so I decided that I want to stay here for the foreseeable future, build a life for myself here and achieve independence. But I can barely find it in myself to do the bare minimum (get up, eat, go on RUclips and stuff, do a bit of that writing I mentioned if possible (and it’s not, usually), go to sleep, repeat (I used to think “the bare minimum” included brushing my teeth)). There are so many things I want to do but for that very reason, there are so many things I could fail to do.
