We need to make that happen...the Alex Smith comeback player of the year award. Just like Walter Payton, Smith deserves that honor. He most definitely earned it.

Hell yeah!! It takes guts to come back and play after an injury like, but he was determined to play again and prove everyone wrong and he did, he’s the 🐐 for that! Congrats Alex Smith 👌🏼

Alex Smith could have this award named after him. Career/life threatening injury. He came back, and it was one of the greatest if not the greatest ever. Glad you’re back, finish your career on YOUR terms!

Time and again life has thrown curve balls at Alex Smith, from being almost declared a bust after first few years in SF to being replaced as the starter at both SF and KC to this career ending injury. But he has always fought back and come out a winner.

If i was him I would’ve never touched a football field again. I would’ve been so scared that the injury would happen again and id actually lose the leg. Glad he got healthy and dude went back out there and fought.
