both of her like a version performances were incredible! i loved how she turned the arctic monkeys song into such a soulful ballad, truly encapsulating the spirit of like a version in my opinion. and then terms and conditions - what a banger!!
i was lucky enough to see mahalia perform in melbourne while she was here, and it was genuinely the most profoundly beautiful performance i have ever seen. it was so much more than her amazing singing; she told us the meanings/behind the scenes of each song and shared so many personal stories with such depth, it was an experience unlike anything i've been apart of before. her stage presence and energy is just so bright and invigorating, i can't wait to see her again!
