Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
awesome true
I remember seeing U in Seattle, in 2002 and then after I had moved to California, I took my bestfriend
(💕 she's the 1⃣ who 1st showed me your work.... 🤓👌!) to see u in the city @ either the Warfield or the Great American MusicHall 🎶 & it was just an awesome experience!!
And they sing la la la la la
I know this is supposed to be written about watching the news during the Bush era (especially the opinion of Fox). But honestly, I've always interpreted it as putting too much reliance on critiquing people who get you angry, but who should never define your interpretation of reality nor the world. It's like these voices that don't go away, but we can always disband if we prioritize what matters.
I can't remember what record store it was, but @ the Seattle show which was a cold ❄, rainy night
(how unusual for the Emerald City! 😉) U played @ a record store near Belltown, maybe?
Anyway, U were just amazing, switching out guitars every other song bcuz U have more custom, signature tunings to smartly suit& sinc-up each moody, original track than the turmoil of a
Joni Mitchell album written two weeks after a sudden break-up wherein the A-hole cheated on U, dumped U, kicked U out of the (?? Shared....? Yours? Yours& his? Ohhhhh, JUST his, 😮.....) apartment and U had to move back to 🍁 Canada 🍁 bcuz the bastard also awarded HIMSELF Full-Custody of the "kids" - a Fender Rhodes, two chromatic harmonicas and an aeolian in E minor, a little classical, custom-made German guitar with a floating bridge, and a RIGHTEOUS brand-new, Acoustic-electric 12-string complete with a gorgeous effects pedal (!) So 😢all U had left were 3 "Tuneys" and a Lune ("Every Day is a 'Looney' Day" 😂😅😂), and those don't even SPEND in the States....
SOOOOOO, if U can imagine the magnitude of the alternate tunings a glorious, tumultuous mess such as THAT would have spawned..... & then multiply ✖ that by, like 10 to the Duncan-N-th degree..... & that's the amount of eclectic, idiosyncratic, meloncholy moods of all the different tunings I got to hear from U 💕 💕 🎶 in the little record store ❤that ☔ rainy Seattle concert.
I asked U to play "November" (well, begged U, really, and I and my bestffriend begged U again in SF in the 2004 show. And U said what U always say :
"I CAN'T, Love.... Not without the 4:38 bloody ORCHESTRA!" 🤣 🤣 🤣 😘 Such Lovely memories
Lovely melodious harmonies
And a Lovely, velvety-voiced beautiful boy....... ♥💕 💋 💋 💋!!!
