    I did this strategy tonight and now have 56 content ideas. Not sure if they are all good ones, but it is a start and an excellent way to take the pressure off. Now all I need to do is batch produce this content :). You are my virtual coach! Thank you.

    When you said, "you don't need to innovate as a content creator", I thought you were bonkers. But, after I listened more I realized that I've been stuck in analysis-paralysis trying to think of something new and yes that's A LOT of pressure. This new mindset is very freeing.

    A big advantage of writing a list of ideas in advance is that you can order them by quality, do the one at the top and as you add more, you never get to the ones at the bottom. Otherwise you would be implementing substandard ideas, but you are only doing the most awesome ones instead.

    Hello Graham. I just figured out why I enjoy your videos. I love the pace and how you speak to a particular challenge. I can pick up the points more easily than in comparison with the hyper pace of other videos that provide lots of information but at frenzied pace. Your delivery allows me to reflect on what you are saying an hence, I comprehend and retain much more and feel more confident and competent in taking action. I imagine that your style has a connection with your music background. Thank you.

  • @yevkenny

    Hey Graham. I'm a wedding photographer with my wife. We want to start a podcast as a content stream as we are moving into the digital product market for teaching photography. While the digital products will be focussed on teaching photo and video, I don't want the podcast to about more than that. Being a good photographer means experiencing the fullness of life along the way, and so while we travel, run our wedding business, try new food, work on ourselves and our relationship, all these aspects connect to photography.
    When I made a list of my content buckets they felt a little all over the place.
    - Travelling
    - Personal Photography
    - Home Video
    - Weddings
    - Relationships
    Do you think all these buckets could cohesively fit under one content stream? Thanks for your help!

    I’m sorry if I missed this in the beginning, but are these buckets within one niche? In this video you include content creators other than business owners but for someone like me who is in the process of really narrowing down my business, I’m still without one or one particular niche yet.
    So in my case when I hear you refer to content buckets I think of making cannabis content, speaking on blockchain, recycled gaming content from my livestreams and oh I don’t know, vlogging. Do you see what I’m asking, because I’m not sure I’m making sense? Like in my context would I be choosing one niche, cannabis for example, and then 4 buckets within that (like cooking, reviewing, the science behind it, gaming content under the influence)?
    Sorry for this being a long winded comment, I just need some clarity because I would love to implement this. It’s the only question I have to the exact answer I’ve been having in my head lately: “how do I make content for more than just today or next week”
    Thanks man, and great content as always from what I’ve seen!

    • @GrahamCochrane

    Hey Graham, do you consider Instagram to be a good platform for creating content on ( instagram blogging & video)? Or is having a blog or YT channel a different game, because of the clear SEO, search & discoverability.

    • @GrahamCochrane
      @GrahamCochrane  5 лет назад

      You said it in your last sentence. A blog or YT channel is SO MUCH more powerful thank Instagram because the content lives on forever and is searchable. Instagram is great for connecting with an audience and staying top of mind.

    Loved this content Graham! Thanks for sharing your insights. AsI listened and started mapping out my contents buckets, I realized it’s hard to narrow them down to just 4-5 - I came up with about 12-15 bucket ideas. Question: What’s the best way to find out what my clients (and prospects) want to know? Thanks for the feedback.

    • @GrahamCochrane
      @GrahamCochrane  4 года назад +1

      Great question. Short answer: just ask. Long answer: it takes time to get super clear on that but the more you engage your audience the more you'll find out what they truly care about. Could be asking on social media, via email, in a video, etc.

    • @VID801
      @VID801 4 года назад

Lol You have a good message and good tips, but I would watch them a lot more if you got to the point faster... I am sure I can't be the only one that feels like this. Remember the Value equation... the longer it takes for you to give me "the thing" the lesson, the tips, whatever... the less valuable the lesson becomes.
