I agree with everything Gary Johnson said, except for the abortion part. Libertarians we hold life to be precious, and we believe in the non-aggression principle as well. Killing an unborn child is a form of aggression. Gary Johnson said as long as you don't impose your views on me, we good. Guess what you're doing to an unborn child?
An unborn child feeding off of their mother is a violation of the non-aggression principle and can only be allowed under the mother's consent, if a woman chooses to have her child aborted, that child was inherently surviving off of her bodily resources, and if she decides that she does not consent to that, it is theft and the unborn baby can be killed.

You don’t get to keep the money you earn tho. Your boss does and then gives you a small piece of that money that you’ve earned for them
Smart man. I’m voting for him if he runs this year.
It's Jo this here, but her policy positions are much the same.
Imagine how much happier everyone would be if he was president
@soli Sanchez UAE has no income tax and its doing fine.

Gary Johnson for president!!!!!!

Not sure how you arrive at that conclusion when hes non interventionist and shes lets go to war with Russia... Lol

The right wing Bernie Sanders. A true conservative
Economically, no. But in almost every other aspect, yes
I didn't hear conservatismwhat was conservatism in his explanation?
More so economically than socially. Or at least closer to what Republicans think they are instead of big spending debt makers.

Everyone shits on him for not being able to name olepa but honestly I think that's a good thing... it shows he's not concerned with Middle East drama and would rather focus on what's going on at home and be peaceful towards others
Libertarianism is the way to go

Im trans i love libertarianism and trump he was great for the country
Fun fact: conservatives aren't anti-legal immigration, conservatives are anti-illegal immigration.
I had a mini stroke reading this but I see what you mean.

If that's the case, why do Republicans support limits on legal immigration as well? If the problem is illegal immigration, then make the legal immigration process easier and more accessible.
@@Nanofuture87 what are you referring to specifically?
@@MaxOrchow Trump's executive order banning immigration from certain countries, reduction in the number of refugees accepted, and limits on the number of people getting green cards based on family ties for example.
The biggest problem I had with the Libertarians is the Border issue
Same here, which is why I left.
i’m more of a left wing libertarian (ancoms/ anarcho syndicalism) but i prefer lib-right wingers then authoritarian left or right wingers
Get rid of the department of education? That's a little too far, but I agree with everything else
Since the inception of the DoE, graduation rates have plummeted and dropout rates have gone significantly higher. All the while, federal spending for it has increased again and again. This is what we call a failed investment. Cutting it out is the best solution.
Libertarians don't like the controlling of people, you have to go to school there's no getting out of it in most first world countries. Studies have shown kids learn better doing something they enjoy over sitting in a classroom reading about bollocks they will never remember
I think there should be specific federal standards but education should be a district based ordeal not a state or federal one.

DONALD TRUMP 2020!!!!!!
Let Jo Jorgensen debate
Stop supporting Gary Johnson. Be real here. A vote for Gary Johnson is a vote wasted. Maybe next time don't announce your campaign a year in.
like bill weld said, the only wasted vote is a vote for a cause you do not believe in, and trump has no chance anyway. Indeed, in a policy battle without trump johnson would win.
A VOTE FOR TRUMP IS A VOTE FOR HILLARY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE ON TRUMP
he was actually campaign for a long time way before Trump considering he ran in 2012 and never really stopped campaigning and was announced as the libertarian candidate before Trump or Hilary were announced. He didn't get in it late people started paying attention to him late. But, voting for something you believe in is never a wasted vote. Why would I vote for Trump or Hilary which according to the isidewith quiz i support less than 60% when i support Johnson 96%? A wasted vote is voting against someone and not for someone plain and simple.
This is a bi-partisan myth. A vote wasted is a vote for someone you don't agree with.
Michael 'Flip' McFadden the truth really is that in the election system that we have today, your vote does, in fact, not matter at all if your state disagrees with you. So I guess voting Gary Johnson would be a waste of a vote no matter what
Voting for Gary Johnson is the only hope the country has for change. Either mainstream candidate would just be more of the same.
I freaking live this guy!
You live him? WTF?
+Guss Manning he IS him Illuminati confirmed !!!!!!

@@voluntarism335 No, he supports personal liberty.Simple as that
not all points he said are position of the libertarianism itself here. Libertarianism is about the the non agression rule, not forcing people things

Socially libertarian, economic right, cultural left. Just like me!
IMAGINE FOR A MOMENT:
*If Trump were black, didn't pay his taxes for 20 years and called the first lady derogatory names as well as his white female opponent
*If Trump were gay and had been groping young men all his life and had that same conversation on that bus about men
*If Trump were a democrat and "joked" about someone killing his opponent or suggesting at rallies to hit Republicans that show up there to protest
*If Trump were Foreign and had many ties to Putin and openly praised his dictatorship
*If Trump were Jewish and bragged about cheating the IRS and claimed a 900 million dollar loss in one year during a recession
*If Trump were a woman and said the things he has said about women- about men and talked about men as objects
*If Trump were someone who wasn't as rich and still sent so many jobs overseas and had as many bankruptcies as him and as many people who want to sue him for what he has done to them
*If Trump were black and asked a white President for his birth certificate
*If Hillary was a man and forced through so many hearings with taxpayer dollars to be found innocent again and again
*If People cared half as much about the millions of private emails during the Bush MALE administration or the newly uncovered Trump private server
*If Trump were a man with a rape case of a 13 year old boy happening
*If Hillary had three previous marriages- each beginning with the person they cheated on the last with
*If the barrage of insane claims out this week were Anti-Trump ones
*If Mexico wanted to build a wall to keep America away from them
Do I really need to say anything else? What's going on is more than obvious. It is SO IMPORTANT to vote to stop this Hitler-in-Training.
My god and I thought Trump and Hillary were bad. This guy means well but his ideas are fucking crazy.
Which?
+metabum he supports TTP, he supports Privatization of social security, he supports abolishing the minimum wage. He is as crazy as they are. Bernie sanders was and Jill stein are the best candidates for president since FDR
+OneCrazySikhi90 he wants the minimum wage to be decided by local government
OneCrazySikhi90 I'm not sure what you mean by TTP. Social security should be abolished. The minimum wage should be abolished.
+metabum... but why abolish minimum wage? wouldn't that mean subway could drop my wage back to 2$?
Holy crap more people need to see this.
Hmmmmmm still can't trust anyone the TPP wants
What's wrong with the tpp?
He's on the right track but his thought process is like a kid who just found his father's gun and wields it around so recklessly! He's not a true libertarian he leans too far left if you ask me.
how does he lean too far left?
Most of his views are actually from Milton Friedman books. Read them. He's capitalist king.
Are you kidding me? He's further right than anyone in this entire fucking comment sectioon but myself lmao. He wants to abolish the minimum wage and eliminate most forms of taxation. What else can you want?
He's more on the nose with libertarians if you ask me. And yes, libertarians are "reckless" in their policy because they realize half-assing solutions and committing halfway gets nowhere and usually leaves things worse than they left off, like a domino effect.
10X better than Trump and Hillary.
TRUMP 2020
It’s easy. Government should only have a basic function and that is to protect citizens and let people do what they want to themselves as long as I am not paying for it (taxes) and as long as it doesn’t affect others
Trans is not a real thing and for you to say this means you are not libertarian. We are in objective reality not delusion

He's a fool for supporting unlimited campaign contributions. He would probably have a better chance running as a third party candidate if there was campaign finance reform.
Sweet Jesus what breath of fresh air.
I love him!
I wish he won and not trump
I agree mostly w him on everything except for abortion. It’s life and it should be given the same right to liberty that we all have.
There are many great things about libertarianism but some things not so great
Proud libertarian!!!
He only gets 2 minutes
What an awful stance
Real libertarians do care about social issues, dont support ANY tax and are against free immigration(it should be only by invitation). This man is not a libertarian and haven't read any of the libertarian theorists
That's called Hoppeanism mate but you cant brand it as "real" libertarianism
I agree. All taxation is theft, we need some sort of border.
I really wish I knew about him sooner....
Come on, the way he said it sounded like all libertarians are pro-choice
Well that's the point of liberitarianism.
gary bake-that-cake johnson isn't a libertarian.

Gary 4 prez!!
No
"They want to give Jill Stein zero coverage and they want to give Hairy Johnson a positive spin so that Trump is hurt and Hillary isn't."
Libertarianism is the political arm of white supremacy anyway; so, if what you are saying is true, then, that's a good thing!
Baron your an idiot. What type of neocon supports gay marriage and marijuana legalization and started doing so in the 90's?
BaronVonTacocat Umm...Jill Stein has one of these 2 minute CNN segments too. Yes, CNN gave the "other candidates" 4 minutes to talk about actual policy. Now, back to 24 hrs of news about emails and pussy groping, because apparently that's all the sheeple care about.
SpookeyR Exactly what I said. Most people in this country it seems care more about stupid Jerry Springer BS than they do about each candidate's position on the policies that will affect all of us in the near term.
Our constitution is libertarian.
Not really. The constitution says we’re a sovereign nation, most libertarians don’t believe in that. Which is why I left the party.
This is my Guy
So he’s pretty much a republican with random democratic opinions and with some opinions that neither democrats nor republicans would agree with. He said some things I agree with but also some things I disagree with. I think other political parties should get more recognition and representation and we shouldn’t have a two party system but have political parties less of a bigger deal than they are.
So wait, he calls them ILLEGAL here, but the next day gets triggered by the word. LOL
What a con man.
Nah the media don’t care about giving people like him any time on air they did the same thing to Ron Paul
Trump actually does not represent a republican or a democrat in this election. This election is not about republicans vs. democrats or right vs. left. It is about Trump vs. everyone else. Gary Johnson's voters: if you are seeking for a change, please vote for Trump because he can really make the CHANGE!

Get your facts straight.
BaronVonTacocat Johnson said that he doesn't know the TPP because he hadn't had the opportunity to read it yet. If it would enhance free trade he'd sign it but he doubts that it's free of cronyism and serving special interests.
Libertarians are pro immigration. Gary Johnson also is.
He wants to make it easier to get work visas and doesn't wanna build a wall across the border. It's just common sense.
