I think maybe at the time when I wrote this a lot of people were praising Gianni for winning a championship and sticking with his team, while killing LeBron for leaving Cleveland. Giannis clearly had a better team, plus they had a more competent owner who really wanted to win and create winning culture.

Nah, he carried this Cavs team to 66 wins with Mo Williams as his second best player, and he was playing at all time in the playoffs too. He had inflated stats in Miami because Wade and Bosh spreading the floor for him. 08-09 season was clearly his most impressive season overall. His PER, WS48, Box Plus/Minus, etc is up there with Curry's 15-16 season.
