Evan Sizemore (0:00-0:20) This is “Paradis perdu (Lost Paradise)” composed by Yasushi Akutagawa in 1950. Edited by me as proofreader, but mostly same as the original score. Then 0:20- Toshiro Mayuzumi “The Bible” (film) 0:40- Ikuma Dan “Sinfonia Isolana” 1:20- Yasushi Akutagawa “Buddhist cantata: The Life”
Furthermore, Yasushi Akutagawa and Toshiro Mayuzumi are two of the first students of Akira Ifukube when he began teaching at Tokyo University of Fine Arts. In particular, Akutagawa has "chased" his professor after his first lesson until his home in Nikko (far from Tokyo, two hours by train) and stayed several days. This is a "funny story" but also we can recognize the passion of young Akutagawa for his beloved teacher.

I cannot read Japanese. Please tell me, who is the composer and what score is this?
